Reviews of LEGO® Star Wars™

  • A wonderful game

This game might not have the best graphics, but let me tell you it is a great game. One problem is that only Episode 1 is free but it only costs $7 for the rest of the game. Another reason why I love this game so much because it brings back so much memories and nostalgia from when is was a little kid coming home from school wanting to play this game. I remember when I didn’t know how to do one of the parts and asked my dad and he didn’t know either and I started crying 🤣. This game also is a great OG Lego game and is way better than the new Lego Star Wars games. This game is also a big reason why I love Star Wars today. In my opinion this game is one of my all time favorite video games, it might be one of my favorites because they just don’t make games like this anymore. Plus you can play ps4 and Xbox. I don’t know why I review this game so late, I should have done it a long time ago. You should definitely get this game.
  • Worth the purchase imo, but you have to put up with some things

Maybe it’s just me being nostalgic from having played The Original Trilogy during my childhood, but I’m very glad to have it on my phone. It’s the same quality as I remember it being and being able to customize characters is my absolute favorite part. There are some prominent glitches though, including music cutting out and the Kamino Stud Hunt, and seeing some other reviews, I’m scared to update my phone (I’m on iOS 16.6.1, where it plays fine).

I like personally being able to play all of the levels, but I wish there was a 2 player mode so that I could play with someone else like before. Of course, nobody’s going to add to this game anymore, so I’m better off appreciating what I have and it’s certainly great.

For the glitch on Kamino Stud Hunt preventing 100%: It IS possible with Jango Fett / Boba Fett, and you’re gonna want to stand IN FRONT of the thing where you can use the force and right at the edge before falling into the water. After jumping, very precisely time the hover as late as possible to cover as much distance as you can. Aim for the part on the other side that sticks out just a little and don’t waver from a straight line too much. It took me a lot of tries to get this, but I replicated it for all three of my save files, just in case. Of course, nothing’s worse than pulling it off and still needing studs, so do it last!
  • Very fun Blast from the Past!

I enjoyed playing this game with my children when they were younger. My son especially loved it. He passed away in 2009 from brain cancer, and being able to play through these levels again has brought back such sweet memories for me. I’m so close to finishing the game 100%, but I’ve been unable to complete the Kamino Stud Hunt level in the arcade. No matter which Force character I use or whether I use Classic or Touch controls, I can’t get the “bridge” to connect to get me over to finish collecting the studs. R2 and the Fetts are not able to hover that far either. Is there a solution I’m missing or is this a glitch?
This is the ONLY issue I have with the game. The creators have done a wonderful job transferring the graphics and ease of movement and play to the iPad format!
