Several bug fixes, clearer explanations, a revamped customer support section, and a better firmware upgrade process, which will recover Range Dials that have become unresponsive because they're stuck in upgrade mode.
Predicted done time. This is technically beta, but I wanted to get this out to you in time for a long turkey cook. Now when you set an alert in portrait orientation, you'll see an estimated time remaining to get there (and in the Today View that you get to by swiping right from your phone's notifications screen, if you've added the Range widget to that). I wouldn't completely trust the turkey to this, but me know how it works for you. As always, contact me with any feedback through Customer Support (under the Settings gear icon).
Egg preset. Making great soft-boiled eggs can be tricky. We've added two tried-and-true methods. @beau suggested the idea, and if you're using the default USDA preset temperatures, you'll get his method — bring to a boil, then 6 minutes at a simmer. If you're using the gourmet preset temperatures, you'll get my wife's — drop the eggs into boiling water for 3 minutes. Get the complete instructions when you tap on the egg preset.
