I used it for several years. But I just found it collected some information from other shopping apps. I shopped a memory card on Chinese E-commerce platform Jingdong. It can still access all of your photos when you try to change your profile pictures in the app even with your IOS setting disabled!! (Tested in the newest IOS14 and the newest app version)
