  • Shrink video

Very ,good,THOES the job very well....
  • No Directions

Nothing special with no explanation of settings and no way to abort a shrink without shutting down. No way to rename a video and no suggested settings. Had I paid money for this app, I would want a refund.
  • Unbelievable!

Who would pay more money for an iPod with more internal memory?
The amount of space I have saved just by using this app to convert my videos is amazing. Just get it, you won't be disappointed.
  • Very good!

    Simple and works.
  • Great App

Frees up room and makes for easy upload and emailing of videos
  • Ok but

Software works but how to get it to work is not obvious. A better user interface would make it much easier to use
  • Very Nice, but...

I have to say I really like this app except for one very irritating function.

    Here's the good stuff:
It has a GREAT video file browser that allows you to see the file size and dimensions of all your videos in your video album. This is really nice.

It does compress the videos really well with sliding adjustable settings for Frame Rate, Bit Rate and Frame Size.

    But

Choosing an exact dimension with the Frame Size slider is extremely difficult. It would be impossible if trying to do it outdoors while jiggling around just a tiny bit.

The Frame Size adjustment is way too coarse with the slider control. I like to resize the videos to fit iPhone 5 size 1136 X 640 and the way the sider works, it overruns the number (or any Frame Sized number) one way, then overruns it going the other way. Only the most microscopic of finger motions can let you choose the frame size you want. It's very difficult and frustrating.

If this unfortunate behavior was absent and the Frame Size could be easily chosen, I would give this app 5 stars.

Really nice... except for the Frame Size slider.

  • Awesome

I'm an actor and do a lot of self taped auditions. When I can't tape with Skytown Entertainment I have use my iPhone or iPad, but the file sizes are to large to send via email. This app works great compressing the audition without loosing image quality. One improvement would be to label the compressed video to distinguish it from the original on the camera roll. Four stars only because slider opinions are not precise enough.

  • Works but there are better apps

If your device is full then it says it succeeded in saving to camera role when it hasn't. But more annoying is that it modifies metadata on videos, so they're all dated the day you converted them, not when they were taken. Also no ability to delete originals or batch convert. Also the quality sliders are ridiculous, simply can't get it to the exact settings I want, especially the resolution slider. And lastly no way of saving a preset, have to keep using the annoying sliders to get as close as I can. I'd suggest Squishy from the ones I've tried.

  • Really does what it says

So far I've shrunk a huge mega file of 650 mega bites down to 100 mega bites. Hopefully it will be small enough to send via email.
