Cannot use
Cannot access mic or camera, thereby making the app utterly useless. Please fix.
Doesn’t work
The App will not ask the iPAD to allow Mic and Camera and is therefore useless
Can’t use app
Ive tried using the app on my iPads, and it doesn’t seem to want to ask for microphone and camera permission, so I simply can’t use it 😭
No access to camera or microphone
I have installed and uninstalled the app a few times and it is useless. The app says I need to allow access to the mic, etc but my iPad does not recognize that it is downloaded. Is there a fix for this????
The app won’t connect to my iPad microphone and camera
The Speak Up for Parkinson’s app has been a great help to me. I’ve had Parkinson’s since 2008, and have used it regularly, without a problem. Recently, however, when I have opened the app, it cannot open my iPad’s camera or microphone. I have tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it, and I get the same result. This makes me act useless. I am disappointed, and I hope there is a better app in the works.

Wow
The inbuilt video function allows easy taping and viewing of yourself speaking without clogging up iPad photo or video folders. Also thought the sound monitor an easy to see reminder to speak louder.
App is very easy to navigate.

Disappointed that this APP won't run on my android tablet
Speech Therapist
Nice idea for an app. It's good for words and phrases. It's great to have the video of the speaker with the biofeedback.
However, the app crashes frequently. The target volume is too high when the mic is 15-18" from the iPad speaker. The phrase bank is way too small. (We got duplicates in <5 trials.) It should include paragraphs and poems and such for reading.
I would love to see a graph with volume on the Y-axis and time on the X-axis (for speakers whose intensity drops at the end of his phrases.)
Looking forward to version 2.0!
