A brilliant platformer
The graphics are great, since the update the controls work really well. A lot of content, very polished.
Please dont gripe about the price, people had chances to buy it for a cheap price when it came out but i think many people are so used to waiting to get a price drop. Instead this was the reverse which was great and the price went up !
If we want quality iOS games and not an app store full of crappy Flappy bird clones then you have to pay for quality.

This is a console quality platformer for iOS. Charming graphics, interesting and unique game mechanics, tons of polish, challenging levels, works great with mfi controller. That's just some of the great things you will find in this game. Totally worth the price. Yes most paid games are a buck or two, but this offers much more than those. Keep premium games on iOS alive. I've been looking forward to playing Pip.... Now I'm just mad. There should've been an update 2 weeks ago. Fix the games and I might change my rating.
Also, the new $15 price tag is a little ridiculous. $5 was a stretch to begin with.g-dog10

DON'T BUY THIS GAME!!!!! Believe all the reviews, the game controls are truly useless. Unless you have small monkey hands, you will have major troubles managing the controls. You will have fun falling into spike pits and casually walking straight into enemies. This game is waaaaaaaaaaaay to overpriced for the quality that you get. Don't be stupid like I was. Extremely faulty controls ruin game
This game was well put together. The graphics are great, concept is excellent, story could be better, but the controls ruin the entire experience. I have absolutely walked away from this game because I can't stand the way the controls respond and don't react to commands. I paid for this game which is what makes it more frustrating. Note to developer: rethink controls or future games won't sell based off one game.Show lessBilly the child.
What a bobby dazzler
This is my favourite game of the year so far. It’s a beautiful platformer pared down to byte/bite sized/syzed chunks with boss battles at the end of each world. I must say that I’ve only played with a controller (logitech powershell on a 5S) and it’s absolute perfection to have a game of this calibre on my phone. I haven’t tried the touchscreen but it sounds like these need tightening - check out the Mikey games or Rico to Nubs’ Adventure for great platforming with a touchscreen.Show lessSlamraman
Overall excellent
Awesome game, just beat it. The storyline was great, and the game was polished, 4 star rating would be 5 but as others have mentioned the controls could use a little work, perhaps move the evolve button a bit higher so it's not accidently pressed when jumping, I also noticed some input lag occasionally. Author put some work into this game, about 11 hours of gameplay for me which was worth the money spent. Good job, looking forward to more games from you.Show lessM@daddy

...this might even be a top three iOS game, period!
Pip is a console quality side-scrolling platformer with the perfect amount of difficulty, top notch artwork and level design, nice story and addictive game play.
Sure, the control areas are a little small (I have medium size hands) but I continue to spend at least an hour a day playing Pip, so it's obviously not a deal breaker.
