Incorrect cursive
I can’t believe there is an app teaching kids the incorrect cursive letters. I can’t believe I paid for this thinking it was correct. I found out because my daughter said the words don’t have every letter so I told her to do the word “box”. The “b” is wrong. I went thru the lower case alphabet and found numerous letters are wrong. I didn’t even look at upper case. No point. Told her this app is getting deleted. Waste of money.Show lesswasteof299

Hi wasteof299, Sorry to hear that your disappointed with the game, there are many different styles of some cursive letters. We chose the style that the kids that I teach find the easiest. We have a feature in settings that allows this to be changed to the style your child prefers. If we have missed any out please do let us know and we can expand the range of letters and styles. We clearly do need to make this feature more prominent! Thank you for flagging this to us, VickyProblems with functionality.
We are using this app to help my daughter with her handwriting skills and it’s pretty good. But we have encountered some functionality problems - we can’t delete user profiles (our preschooler added 5 of her own) and also can’t swap between users while still in the app (you need to quit and restart, which is annoying).Show lessLotLot78

Dear LotLot78, Thank you for your feedback, this is a tricky one as we deliberately made it hard to delete users, as kids will be kids, and they have been known to delete other children's profiles. You cannot delete a user but you can change their name and then go into setting and reset progress. This is then effectively a new user. Hope this helps. VickyDo not get this app
The app is very misleading. It is marketed as an app your child can learn cursive with, but that is not the case......unless you want them to learn the incorrect way. Almost every letter is incorrect. Find a different app.MaryA2277

It's great for learning how to write cursive but it doesn't let you write more than 3 letter words. I still think it is a really fun app. Great for beginners.Rosabelle6

Hi Rosabella6, Thanks for your feedback back in 2015. Sorry to be so late replying to your review but the 'reply to reviews', feature is new to us! This app does definitely allow you to write words that are longer than 3 letters. The words are based on the top 100 high frequency words. We do start off with the shorter words as it is the best place to start for beginner writers but it definitely progresses to words like 'children' and 'people', as they are high frequency words. Your little one has probably outgrown the game by now but if you do go back and revisit it do let me know how you get on! Hi Dube1, Thanks for your feedback on our app Crazy Cursive back in 2015. We have updated the app several times since then and have made the 'change cursive font', much more prominent now. Your little one is probably much bigger now and doesn't need cursive practice any more but if you do go back and give it a try again do let us know how you get on!
