  • Great app but Dropbox integration is broken

I use this app all the time; it has great customization features and has been my go-to note taker. The key for me has been cloud integration; with my Notes folder on Dropbox, I can access my text files from any platform and device.

The big problem in recent months is Dropbox integration hasn’t been working, probably due to Dropbox API changes. I have to allow the app access every time I save or open a file! Almost every time I save, I receive an error connecting to Dropbox. I then need to logout in Settings and re-allow iWriters access from the Dropbox app. It takes many steps and is very frustrating; it’s getting to the point where I’m looking for other solutions.

    Developers:
I was willing to pay a few dollars for a cloud-enabled notes app, but found your free app my favorite among many similar paid apps. I wish I could pay to have a working update. And of course I will change my rating to 5 stars if this issue is resolved.

  • Handy plain text editor

I needed a plain text editor that syncs with Dropbox. This app allows me to open files from and save them to Dropbox. However, when I create a new file I can't figure out how to save it to Dropbox. There doesn't seem to be a folder syncing option either. It took a couple minutes to learn the interface but I am pleased with the customization options--thanks much to the developer.

  • Not bad

Great value (free). It works as claimed. A good amount of customisation is possible. A option to pay for no adds would be nice, also a word count for the open document.
  • .. tacky looking ads ..

.. initially looked promising but put of by the ads ..
