Description of Golf Stats

Imagine taking your golf game to the next level. GRGS is comprehensive and easy-to-use, calculating over 200 stats per round to provide you (and your coach) with tour-level statistics and analytics to improve your game. GRGS enables you to see where your game is now, where you need to focus your practice, and gives you the ability to track your performance over time. The GRGS app gives you access to these great features: • Record your rounds on or off the course • Use on any course in the world (no GPS or mapping required) • Analyze your game in comprehensive detail with over 200 stats available • Customize your Key Stats to track the ones most important to you • Connect with golfers you know to share rounds and analyze each other’s golf game • Compare your stats with any player in your Clubhouse side-by-side • Save your filtered stats to come back to later • Saves your data to the cloud so you can access your stats from anywhere on our website or our mobile app • Provides more than enough information for you and your coach to improve your game And more! GRGS is free to join and provides all users with a 30-day free trial to see everything available. All accounts revert to the free White level after this time, which allows entry of 2 rounds per month with unlimited compilation of statistics for the lifetime of your membership. Club and Distance recording and analysis is disabled at the White level. GRGS offers upgraded subscriptions to allow entry of more rounds per month and unlocks club and distance recording and analysis. • Started well, but since has fallen down.

This app showed great promise in the beginning. It had all the metrics I was looking for and the price seemed fair. But after my first two posted rounds it stopped working. It would take the input but the data was no longer uploaded to the server and I kept getting an error message.
  • Problem

Hey, this app won’t open on my iPhone 14 pro. What’s up?
  • Good system, a few flaws

    The good:
    1. Well priced.
    2. Ease of use.
    3. Reasonably fast app.
    4. Good presentation of stats.

    The bad:
    1. Only able to keep track of four wedges (PW, GW, SW, LW). Some of us carry more.
    2. Have to repeatedly input distance from the tee. Would be better if it remembered this as part of the course (just like it knows par for each hole). It could then be modified if tees are moved up or back on that specific day.
    3. Does not keep track of driving distances, which obviously limits the ability to understand strokes gained from the tee. This is the most important flaw, in my view, and the reason I ultimately chose to go with a different app for my golf stat tracking.
