Great App
Used this today for the first time. Worked great. While I have a rangefinder it's no help on blind shots. This app provided great information and was very accurate. Also, my course was not in the original list so I requested they add it--which they did overnight! Worth the download.Shornie

Very nice - accurate gps
I've been waiting for two months to get some Indiana courses mapped. I realize I'm using the "free" version thereby being classed as a second class citizen, but it's hard to use a gps if my course isn't listed. When I was able to use this gps, for Ironwood in Fishers, I really liked it and plan on using it in the future, if my courses get mapped. A friend downloaded the app while we waited to start our round and he liked it too. I will probably give this app a better rating when and if I can use it on more courses. Rating downgraded to one star due to inability to get courses added. It's now been three and a half months. My friend also requested courses to be added and we have not seen any results yet. Apparently the free version participants don't carry any weight
when it comes to priority course addition. What use is this app if it doesn't reflect what a player needs? I really liked using this app,but I don't play the same course all the time. Without some additions, might as well delete it.Show lessOldboiler100

This app looks quite nice. Have experimented with several gps apps on my home course and none seem to be very accurate. Looking forward to seeing my courses added and finding an app I can use comfortably

Amazing battery life
Free, intuitive, and you all the info you need. A touch gives you distances to any spot on the course. Clear course maps, much better than satellite maps. Shows your choice of layup distance automatically. Switches to green view automatically. Switches to next hole automatically. Perhaps most impressive is battery life, especially using offline maps, which work seamlessly. Since I've started using Birdie Apps this year, they've added about 70 Twin Cities MN courses at my request. If you don't see your course, it's very easy to ask it to be added.Show lessMNGolfer59
Birdie app
I've been experimenting with many gps maps many use satellite images which can be difficult to see on a sunny day. This app is simple and does not try to track all types of metrics. It is very effective providing all the information I need. I found it does not burn up my battery like other apps did. If your course is not available the staff were very quick to add the courses i needed. Love the app.Show lessGolfcrazy2
Local Course
I like using this app over others I have used. The graphic layout instead of satellite image makes it much easier to see on the course. My local course was not in the system, but they added it. I won't use anything else. Thanks.Nicole lang

Great Golf App!
There are two features that set this app apart. #1 You can request them to add any course in the world and it's done in less than a week, most of the time in just a few days. #2 You can tap anywhere on the hole and it gives you the distance. I find this extremely helpful. I have not found this feature on any other app I have tried.Show lessMatty333333
Works well
Very easy to use. Maps look good and way easier to see than other apps that use satellite images. Distances seem spot on. Will keep using this gps!prime fun
