Really really bad.
Horrible design and takes a while to connect
This app takes a long time to connect to the provided WiFi “router”?? My phone now automatically connects with the provided WiFi router instead of my own personal one which then creates problems later on. The app can only be accessed if you are on a WiFi network—not cool. As for the design, it is horrible to say the least. The app is hard to understand and buttons are not in ideal spots. That app runs off of an operating system that is similar to what Apple iPhone 3 and 3G the worked off of — very outdated. I expected a much better app design with how much money I spent for this Trimlight service.

Works fine if you read the instructions.
I see people complaining. The app works just fine. Does every thing it’s supposed to do.
You seriously have to spend some time reading the book that came with it.
For the lady with the blinking lights. I had that happen to me. It indicates that the lights aren’t synced with the controller.
Two second fix. Read the book.

Garbage
This app is the absolute worst. Save your money and get Philips hue system to use with Apple home
Anyone!
I been dealing with this app. Had a pretty expensive lighting unit thrust house, I m at wits end I don’t even know who to contact. The electrician won’t even respond. It’s a on goring problem. Could someone please tell me What the solution to mess is can’t even turn off blinking lights in basement since Xmas? Thanks Jan blinking in Washington state.

Terrible
This is a terrible App.... I have paid a lot of money for Trimlight! this App really does not work, from day one the timing part of the app did not work, it came on but never switched off, then about s week ago just stopped functioning and the app disappeared altogether, had someone come to help yesterday and all was great until this morning when it stopped working again and can no longer join the network. It’s a pretty appalling app for an expensive lighting system, surely the developers can figure this out.

Time Controls Vanished
It updated today to IOS 11 compatibility and now the timer settings are missing. Can’t find them anywhere.
Won’t connect to wifi
This app won’t allow me to connect to my wifi system because it’s using an older encryption system.
It does the minimum
This app needs to be upgraded so that you can program it or turn your lights on and off from a wireless connection anywhere. More scenes need to be added. It also cries out for a new name so that you know what it is.
No Schedule Capability
My permanent holiday lights use this app to control colors and sequences. These work OK although not very user friendly. Biggest flaw is there is no schedule capability. I have to turn the lights on and off every night using the app. Why no schedule or timer? All other light controller apps have schedulers.
