Reviews of Safety in Action® Conference

  • Poor performance

    Great concept! TERRIBLE Execution!

App doesn’t come out in advance of the event it is intended to support. Past 4 years using it, DEKRA is always scrambling the week before the conference starts to get the app up and running. Here we are in April 3rd 2024 (12 days before my team will travel). I want to promote the use of this app, BUT IT’s not set up yet so I am unable to share, promote, and guide people to its usefulness. It is a great tool if the features actually work.

In 2023, several features were not operable. Many features do not function as intended. Examples = Internal search features for attendees, speakers, and courses do not work consistently. “My Schedule” feature to add classes and follow conference agenda didn’t work correctly. Last year the app was so dysfunctional that I advised my team NOT to use app because it would have caused significant frustration and significantly tarnished DEKRA’s reputation unnecessarily.

I would think this app should not be promoted unless it is developed in advance and will function reliably and as intended to improve attendees conference experience. Without that, this app may be doing more harm to your reputation and hurting overall conference attendance.
  • Good

But could be better. I would love to see a built in observation card in the app.
