I had to delete this app when the ads popped up several times when I finished each page trying to read 1984. Ironic?

It’s a very nice app but the update is so long ago. Cannot use under new version ios.

It needs to be updated for the current iOS system. I haven’t been able to read anything since I’ve updated and contacting the developers is too difficult.
Disappointing
The selection is good. But you have to keep resizing the page in the screen to see it because the font is too small. And what's up with the adds that pop up without any notice or warning ????? How incredibly irritating! Stop it! All I am looking for is to read my classic book in peace.....

Update killed the app. Now it won't load. Should have left it be. It was fine. Sometimes you shouldn't tinker where it isn't needed.
August 26---wanted to say thank you but can't. Still won't open. Deleted and reinstalled. Nope. Oh well.

Not working
This app has amazing views but whenever I try to read something the writing is tiny. Double thumbs down!👎👎
Update added ads
Adds interrupt reading every few minutes with full page coverage which takes a while to remove. Will not use or recommend this app. Ever

Aside from the incessant ad pop up that completely blocks the entire page (seriously dude?) and the fact that you have to constantly adjust and re-adjust the size to be able to read the page and the fact that you can't get the pages to turn and that the program freezes all the time, this is a great (sarcasm) app. Whoever created this is an imbecile. Good job dimwit!

This app is horrible. Don't waste your time.

8/19 Update still no way to contact developer! Today the app started download on its own. Major bugs!
The only way I can load and read is to go back to App Store updates and open from there. Lost bookmark on what I was reading. Now very annoying POPUP ads that are a HUGE distraction, and take away from the pleasure of reading. Used to be a good read, now may have to delete.
bTW the only way I found to communicate with developers is via Facebook. Too bad
How do you contact for those of us that really detest Facebook???????

unstable and unresponsive
It crashes every time I try and go back to the book menu, so all I can ever read is Gulliver's Travels. Also, the interface seems unnecessarily complicated for a program that only needs to display readable text. This makes it run extremely slow on my older iPhone. Probably less annoying on newer hardware. The crashing makes it unusable for me.

Nice, but waste of space, and money
Convenient to have all books in one app, but it crashes too often, and to turn the pages is a pain. Besides , the books are exactly the same they have in their website (and others since the copyrights have expire for all those books) for FREE. It is better to download only the books you want from their website, open them in iBooks and delete them when you finish, so you free some space in your iPad. Two stars for the title selection.

Very nice collection!
-Turn pages by tapping the lower right side of the page and to go backward, tap the lower left hand side of the page. This app has a very basic and bare boned interface, but hey...it's free and truly has many great titles to enrich your mind and soul!
I love to read and even though I've read many books that are considered 'classics', I still have many more books to read. I found a title on my wish list within the first 8 books.

NOT BAD!!! I'm impressed!
I never wrote a review about anything before, but i must do so about this app. After reading some of the reviews for this app. I almost didn't download it. I must say that I'm glad I did! I didn't give it 5 stars because, as some people commented, a couple of the books are missing pages/chapters. I love the selection of the classics, especially for a daily 2-hour (each way) train commute to and from work.
RE: The flipping of the pages...
It's NOT difficult at all !!! All you have to do to flip the page with ease is to "grab" the page by the very edge of it, and turn it. It's not as some books that let you switch the page just by holding and flipping it anywhere on the page.
All in all, this app is NOT BAD! I love it !

Bandes d'ignares! Pourquoi télécharger une appli comme celle ci si vous ne maitrisez pas l'anglais!? Et surtout pourquoi descendre une appli qui regroupe autant de chefs d'oeuvres gratuitement...
