You are forced to chose US from the start. I then purchased all GB ranks and yet it only shows UK Army (which is missing some) I cannot toggle to another service. Under the Study option it only shows US ranks and you weirdly tap randomly to reveal bits (don’t understand that). The game works well but is a bit weird and the names could be US again (hard to tell as use different abbreviations to UK).

Please fix and ideally do the additional of uniform.

Constrictive criticism

I love this app I have learned the order of ranks E1-O10 but I would love to see so much more in this app, I don’t have access to squad bay yet. But I would love to see creeds and general orders. This app is a great app to learn on if you are planning on enlisting but there’s a lot to learn and this app allows games for memorizing in bite size chunks.

Incorrect Insignia

During one of the recent updates, the insignia for the ‘Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy’ is incorrect and it appears that the insignia for the equivalent rank in the Army was incorrectly pasted in from the Army.

Otherwise, this has been the Goto app for military ranks for me.

Thanks for using the new update for PocketRank. We just saw this posting and found the issue you raised. It was exactly as you mentioned, a copy-paste error. The correction is already in queue for update at Apple. In the future, please use the "Data Correction" feature in the Setting Tab, under Contact Us. It will go right to our team for a quicker turn around since we do not receive review comments made on the App Store automatically. Since this is your "GoTo" app for military ranks, if you have any other feature requests, please send them through that same tab in the application or to PocketRank@shadowshiver.com. Very good, especially since recent update to the new layout & the added other countries, however there are some grammar mistakes since update, some titles not being with capital letters where they should be & yet others are fine. Especially between USA & other countries, so bit visually inconsistent. The study cards are I think abit messed up since update too as the organisations shown do not properly match with the badges being shown, so if the creator sees this then awesome, few tweaks & would be perfect, no OR5? Nato grade too, but tbh that might actually be meant to look like that, seems odd to jump from OR4 upto & through OR6, without OR5?. Maybe things have changed, could of sworn there’s a OR5 grade somewhere, lol. I have a small screen phone so display is also not as neat as should be, lol. That’s expected tho as it’s been redesigned for bigger screens. But obviously all these nitpicks aside, A very worthwhile app for those interested, again would be perfect & the best military ranks app I can see on app store atm if just a few more tweaks were/are made in future. 👌🏻😅

WRONG INFORMATION

I was looking forward to studying my ranks with this quiz game, but then I found out that the information presented is wrong. It says that the birthday of the navy is October 12th, but it should be October 13th. It was a great idea for an app, but the information needs to be doubled checked.

Thank you for your response and using the app. This issue was caused by differences in time zones set on the iPhone vs what was in the database. We do strive to have the most accurate data. This is corrected in the latest release. In the latest release, you can let us know if you find any data issues from the Settings screen. Thanks for using PocketRank!

Can’t learn about other branches

I can’t learn about the other branches. If the devs want people to learn, make all branches free. I will quit using if I can’t learn about any other branches.

Thank you for using PocketRank. The app is free to us for one US Branch. If you wish to learn about more branches, there are several options in the Settings Tab in the PocketRank store. In the latest version, there are in-app purchases for exploring other NATO countries.
