Buggy

Works well once it starts to work, always takes a couple seconds for map and buoys to pop up, then you have to press the station a couple times before it works.

Also wish you could switch between favorites and nearest locations with a swipe instead of having to go into menus

Great on Apple Watch

I’ve had the non pro version of this for a while. It’s supports many more tidal stations than its competitors. However I wanted Apple Watch support for when walking the dog. The dog loves the local beach but if the tide is in, there’s only a small strip of soft sand. If the tide is out there’s lots of firm sand to play on. Now, just using my watch I can make an informed decision as to whether to head to the beach or not.

Tide Pro App

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars from me! I rely on this app for 6 months of the year to keep me updated on the tides at my favorite beach in Auckland New Zealand 🇳🇿 and beach season is coming very soon next month:) Thanks 😊 Angie Wilkin who loves swimming 🏊🏻‍♂️

Great

Great ap but please do not put up a giant banner disabling the ap requiring you to update.

AND NOW A WATCH COMPLICATION TOO???

I cannot laud you loud enough! I have loved this thing for years and now I came across the watchy bit awesome goodness. You guys are even better than Guns -n- Roses. Even better than Stravinsky. Even better than sliced bread and dolloped with mountainous gobs of homemade strawberry jam!

Apple Watch Presentation Needs Format Change

I love the app on my Apple Watch but it needs a format change in how the data is displayed.

Now the tide data three line display on the Apple Watch reads:

(Location) “Ponce Inlet Tides” in medium blue type on my watch face
(Tide stage:) “High Tide (2.89 feet)” in white type face
(Tide stage time) “12:27am” in very faint white type - the user can’t read this.

The tide stage time is very difficult to read in any type of light - bright or dark. It needs to be more visible. Make it the same as the second or middle line so the viewer can see it. The TIME is the most important information for the user. The size of the tide, (easily read on line 2) varies very little unless we a facing a major weather event (or if we live in the Bay of Fundy.) Alternatively, put the tide time on line 2 in readable white type and put the tide height on line 3. Best solution would be to make all three lines highly visible to the Apple Watch user.

Spot on

Accurate predictions, use it every time I fish.

Can’t get it to work as a watch complication

Trying to get the tides on my complication. Says no location selected. I think it may not work for me as I live in Colorado but always want to know the tide for a location on east coast. I’ve set the location, but isn’t displayed. Tried working on this for about 4 hours total. Frustrating.

Response from developer

Sorry to hear this. Can you open the iOS app, tap the gear icon and then tap the "Contact support" button? This will allow me to look into it.

Easy to use tide table

Having downloaded the pro version I am pleased to say that it’s quite impressive and covers virtually any place you are likely to need to need to know the tide information. Also no ads is a big bonus
