P2W/P2P
Let me start off by saying the game is FUN, it offered everything you expect and delivers. Also devs and CS seem to be right on top of concerns and complaints , which is an extra star for many.
That being said, I have no only been playing for about a month. If you are just starting to play..EXPECT TO GET DEMOLISHED not too far into game… unless you spend. Every metric of the game has a different requirement, most of which you can’t really farm as free player/ semi free.
On the plus side they have put in measures so that free players don’t feel totally abandoned like daily keys for roulettes and the chests eve free ones are worth getting. I have gotten limited robots, weapons and even titans from it. One draw back to that going back to P2P is a few instances where I found a good setup that works and they start to sell a higher version of what I’m running(full MKII setups). Also the game pushes lots of buy pop ups, So instead of adds constantly in your face it’s buy offers…( not too bad trade off)

You are about to lose a customer!! 😡
So just now I was doing a free for all and guess what? Every player keeps just killing me over and over again! People who are reading this review, if you want to get high powered weapons and robots you have to buy it or it will take months just for a really good robot or a weapon! Like for example you want to get a decay (that is what I’m currently trying to get right now), you have to be a certain level to start getting blueprints for it! Even when you unlock every slot (there are a total of 6 slots) it will take about a month and a half to finish it if you even have enough silver to afford it! And after you finally unlock it, you would have to upgrade it all the way to Mk3 which can take a while because of the time to upgrade it. But you will need lots of silver, 500 gold to upgrade to Mk2 then eventually you will need 3 of those tokens to finally upgrade to Mk3! But just that weapon can take weeks from starting blueprint all the way to Mk3! Now if it was something like a destrier, it won’t take so long or even cost as much because it is not a T4 robot. The reason I’m bringing the destrier part up is because I have a Mk2 destrier and I need 3 tokens to upgrade that to Mk3! But my point is that unless you spend thousands of dollars into War robots, it will take months, maybe even years to max up your entire hangar because of that! So devs, please, PLEASE, fix this matchmaking system! That is all I have to say. Have a great day!

Kind of pay to win
You might be wondering why am I doing this that’s all because of the game sometimes I was playing in the game and randomly get nuked by the stupid launchers and it’s like dieing in one second and most of the time I walk on land right and suddenly I died :(it’s like everyone just use money to get the best item and it is not fair and every time I see this stupid thing called a Dagon I run like 50 miles away from that thing I know scary and the titans some titans feels like it’s hacking bro I’m not lying but some of them are soooooo good but imagine if your level 18 (no to low)it takes like two million years to get a good titan oh by the way please make more weapon that cost silver and not gold because how rare it is and can you sent some Legendary stuff to the people that are in the level of 1-25(starters)and can you make gold disappear for the starters I’ve always love this game:)

Love the game, but…
So I’ve played the game for a few months and can comfortably say that the game is a good gam, the devs are very active in every little part and detail. However I just have a few suggestions that would make playing this game just a little bit of a headache. 1. Please have different lobbies for people you pay to win and those who free to play. I myself are a f2p player and when it comes to a person who bought the most expensive robot then maxed for like 3 bucks is very annoying to deal with. 2. Having a total of 3 upgrade slots. Two for weapons and 1 for robots. It always comes down to time in this game because it takes an insane amount of time to upgrade at any point after like lvl 6, literal days. 3. Part crafting boosts, I think that when crafting parts should either take less time or should have a boost in amount of parts you get because the time it takes is a bit annoying to get even one item, although hearing people complain about how it takes months, just do the 230 part craft with all six slots, you can grind out parts very quickly and takes about a week and a half. But then you gotta upgrade that weapon or robot, witch takes even longer and more silver.

War of robots
War of Robots is amazing when you get good it’s really fun and there is multiple game mode but one thing that is annoying is that sometimes but rarely the game sometimes crashing but mostly never but it is really annoying when it does especially when your in the middle of a battle but overall it is an amazing game and if you don’t have it you should definitely consider installing it

Great game, poor balancing
This game is very fun and looks great for a mobile game. The controls are easy to use and the weapon systems are fun as well.
The three main problems I have with the game are the amount of ads (when you get one ad you get 20, the app will bombard you with items to buy and it’s very overwhelming. Additionally, the prices are extremely high for a game. $20 bucks for a chest that MIGHT contain a good weapon is a steep price.) the second problem is the balance of the matches; every other match has completely unbalanced teams and player skill levels. It’s either your team dominates or the other team dominates you. On rare occasions both teams will be evenly matched, but again it’s rare. The third thing that makes this game very frustrating is that it makes it very difficult to survive a fight against a player who clearly paid to play. I do not pay to play and have upgraded my weapons to higher levels and they are no match for a player who paid for better guns. While I understand the point is to make the devs money, it is extremely frustrating to get destroyed by these types of players. There are games where I will go through all my robots within 2 minutes of playing simply because I got one shot from across the map at spawn.

Ruined
I’d love to be able to write a positive review about this game. The base play of it is great, loads of robots, maps and the concept very good however it is spoiled and ruined by the game developers. I don’t that they need to make money, that is fine. They have introduced so many robots and it adds more to the game choices. The issue is how they introduce any new robot or titan, or basically anything. To ensure it is enticing enough to get the spenders to spend they will introduce something that breaks the game. And I mean break it, robots or titans that you have worked hard to upgrade get wrecked in a few shots with the robots. This continues for some time while they make their money and then they nerf it ready for the new robot coming out and then rinse and repeat. Disgusting by the developers how they care so little about the community, you know, those who pay your salary.
And don’t even get me started with the useless partying system that will place you with players that have very low power with robots against a team of max ultimate or meta robots.
I write this hoping that the developers will listen but tbh I have no hope they will change in any way. It’s a shame, this game could be so amazing.

Low priority
It’s a good game. I agree that there is a lot of purchasable options that ruins the game, but the main thing that made me delete my account and restart was low priority. You get into low priority when you leave a game before all your robots are dead. This is fine, but in skirmish mode, a mode that doesn’t affect your trophies, rank, or give you any rewards, you can still get low priority from leaving it. This needs changing.

Fun
Nice little PvP robot game. Do wish they had mission. But the Pvp is great. Im on an Iphone 8 and have had no problems with lag or freezing in-game. Based on skill and upgrades. Downside Takes a while to upgrade so when you reach a certain lvl if you don't purchase you will be outgunned. But with skill and patience you can play and have fun still. My advice save your coins for your first legendary robot so you can put as much into it as you can. Takes about a month from scratch. Upside is when you do finally get a good robot you can dominate cause you figured out the mechanics but trial and error. have this on my other iPhone as well paid no money and built my robots up. I wanted to try one on my iPhone 8 too but have bought items and was much faster to advance. Overall the hard road or easy street is just fun if you like destruction. One thing is they do have daily deals you can get if your smart that are far cheaper then paying full price. Its nice to see good discounts. So if you can spare forty bucks you can make a great robot to mk2 fairly easy. Last piece of advice is save you titan coin for a good titan. Your first Titan wont be your last. Wait till you get one you love and then spend your titan coin to upgrade it as much as possible and you'll dominate the arenas.
