The latest release of HDS Entry is a major upgrade in how the app synchronizes data between the app and the HDSWin desktop application. This version fixes an intermittent bug causing some inspectors to lose data due to loss of internet connectivity during syncing. The streamlined syncing process also means improved performance overall. Additionally, the new version includes a number of new features designed to improve the user experience, including the ability to sort and search for units. ** Please note that this release of HDS Entry requires an accompanying update to the HDSWin desktop application in order to utilize all the new features built into HDS Entry. Please contact HDS customer support to arrange an update to your HDSWin application. Feature Upgrades: • New API that provides a new way for the app to interact with the web service utilizing strong data-object relationships instead of a database approach • Numerous improvements to the front end code of the app • Creation of new automated testing modules for improved reliability New Features: • Ability to continue using the app while downloading or syncing additional units • New log out functionality that eliminates the concept of “logging out” and instead only allows for “switching users" • Ability to search units in the list of units to be inspected by name or address • Ability to sort units in the list of units to be inspected by address or appointment time • Displays the app version inside the app • Unit count displayed within the app for units to be inspected Bug Fixes: • Auto-capitalizes the first word in the comments field • Automatically scrolls to a newly-expanded item header for improved UX and usability • New signature module to fix memory leak while saving signatures and fix signature collection crash bug
