This app is worthless. Nothing special. It does not even have a map. I cannot find why sleds are OUT unless I read the news. It will send you to the web page. It is like an extra step. Not worth my time

Great Free App to follow the Iditarod
This is a great free app that allows fans to follow the Iditarod in Alaska. You will get race news, video and team profiles. For even more become an Iditarod Insider.
Very poor
Unable to get anything and race has officially begun. What’s up with this?

Over 15 mushers already at 1st checkpoint and this app shows nothing.

Can’t get Insider on app
I downloaded the app to follow during work and when not around my computer. Since I can’t log into the Insider through the app, I have been logging on through Safari on my phone. Unless they fix this issue, there is little point to downloading the app.
What a let down
I am a member of the insider and you can’t see anything live at the checkpoints with this app. Pretty disappointed.

Very basic, rudimentary info on the Iditarod, and half of that doesn’t work right.
I can’t believe they haven’t fixed this app after giving it a lobotomy last year. Since they didn’t pay attention to the poor reviews last year, I doubt my review will stir them to action, but I’ll try.
The only thing in this app worth anything is the Standings. And even that’s broken. It gives me what place the mushers are in and the date they left/arrived at a checkpoint, but the time, and any other info if there is any, is cut off.
Iditarod Live just gives me a pretty picture of some snow.
I can see some News, but the text is cut off on the right, like the standings screen. Makes it a bit hard to understand, trying to figure out what the missing words are. Doesn’t support landscape view or sizing.
I guess the videos work. If you like 10 second videos. Which every one I’ve looked at is. I don’t. I also prefer sound. Which is missing on all of them.
It does have brief bios of all the mushers, but again the text is cut off on the right, as on all the other screens.
And if I switch to another app and come back, it doesn’t return me to where I was, but takes me back to the home page.
I have been an Iditarod Ultimate Insider for several years. There’s no log in for us, and I get nothing extra for my money.
No way to follow mushers or get alerts.
I may keep this POS on my phone to get current (I hope) standings, but suspect I’ll delete it and just go to the website for info. That’s got tons more info on it and at least it works.
Don’t know why they bother keeping this around as is.

No access to Insider
Totally frustrating that we cannot access Iditarod Insider material with iPhone 7! Was so convenient before...
