  • Very Helpful Could not recommend enough

This is a very helpful app with most if not all of the information you need as well as a feature for doing the test and seeing where you went wrong, or a full timed “exam”. Air Law comes as standard but it is £20 to unlock everything, however when one pooleys book costs £23 and will take an age to read, an app where for less than one book everything is included seems almost too good to be true!

  • Very helpful

App was recommended to me by another student. Very good, basic and questions were very close to those in the actual exams. Passed my first 3 in first sitting using this app and now studying for the next set. Explanation feature is fantastic and the revision section is helpful when you have a quick 10 mins.

  • As close as you can get to cheating!

This app has been immensely useful for getting me through my ground exams- the questions in the app are almost word for word perfect with many of the exam questions! I found the interface very easy to use and honestly £20 is a small price to pay for what you’ll get out of this.

Beware- a couple of answers are incorrect! If you ever think that an answer looks completely wrong, it may well be.

  • Very good app. Please fix some things though!!!

Really informative app, helped me a lot to pass. However, the title screen when clicking not the unfortunately is too long and doesn’t have any importance.. just wastes time.. also, when you do ‘Mark and Go’, If you click an incorrect answer you do not have enough time to read the answer in some cases, before it jumps into the next question. I wish there was another button to advance when we need to.
Apart from that, the app is 5+ stars worthy. Very very good app!

  • Great way to practice

Used this app to pass my Air Law, Human Performance and Aircraft General Knowledge last weekend. Using the app is much better than just reading the PPL manuals alone, it reinforces what you have read and learnt. Exam question prep is the best way to learn in my opinion, an approach I use most in my day to day job of teaching. The questions strongly reflect the questions you will face in the exams.

  • Really helps prepare you for the exams.

This app is a really useful aid to passing the nine exams. I would suggest that you need to study each topic in detail with the course books but taking lots of tests from this app is a good guide to how you are progressing.
Choose the one where you can’t see your score until the end to really test yourself and put yourself under exam conditions! Good luck!

  • Really helped

Just done my air law and Op Pro exams using a combination of this and the approve text books. It drops a star because it doesn’t really give you depth of knowledge...this is fine if you just want to pass the test but safe flying requires more than remember sound bites...that being said its been a very effective tool. Only 7 exams to go!

  • Ppl student

For me this is a great app easy to use and perfect content to do the job, thank you 🙏🏼
  • Good app, but broken

Is a good app that helped me pass my Air Law exam (first time), however since the update it appears to be broken. I can no longer log in as it says “No Internet Connection” (when I am connected to the internet).

Have logged an error with the support team who will hopefully fix it and I can then give it the 4 stars it deserves (loses a star as doesn’t have helicopter specific content).

  • Pretty good

Generally a very useful app and much appreciated.

A few negative marks though. The 24 of children's animation at the beginning is bewildering and genuinely annoying. 2 or 3 seconds to show a splash screen, fine, but it loses a star when you have wait so long just to watch a pixellated plane bob around weirdly.

Also, quite a few typos and mistakes in the text. Not sure if any actually change the meaning of the question/answer but definitely would be good to check for basic mistakes.

Lastly, although specific questions aren't repeated within an exam, near-identical ones appear together. Hard to program perhaps, but in a test of, say, 12 questions, being asked the same thing twice is annoying.

This is constructive feedback though, I've paid for it all and like it - a dab of polish would be good though!
