  • What happened to honey comb?

Honey comb was way better than this trashy update
  • What?

One day, I’m showing off all the cool symbols I can make. The next, my honeycomb keyboard app is replaced with this random piece of garbage. I’m not sure why or how, but this app was changed to something completely different as an “update”.
  • Unacceptable breach of privacy

I confirm the most recent review below me. The only reason I found this was since I was searching for the Honeycomb keyboard app on my phone and couldn’t find it...so I googled it. Yet when you click the link to redirect, you’re redirected to this app. Better yet, I see this app is already installed on my phone. I didn’t install this app. So what does this mean? That somehow they were able to push a completely DIFFERENT APP through Apple’s update process.

I don’t write reviews often, nor am I a nut over privacy typically. But thinking about how this Developer was able to both fool Apple’s procedure of reviewing updates before pushing them out, and manipulating it so all searches for the previously popular Honeycomb Keyboard app which would surely find some hits online as a marketing scheme for a new Developer looking to cut corners and redirect traffic to their new app to bring in unique hits....this is a dark road.

The potential is there for developers to copy this tactic verbatim, and completely compromise privacy, by selling off any app of theirs that has gained popularity to another person whose intent we do not know and whose app we have NO interest in.

    I downloaded a keyboard app....now I have a totally random Hours+Minutes calculator on my phone....what?

Unacceptable, and that’s putting it lightly.

If this isn’t a breach of Apple’s privacy policy...I don’t know what is. Because it’s surely a breach of my privacy. Not cool.
