2.7

It is now easier than ever to create a choreography from an existing audio file or DanceMaster choreography. When you create a new choreography (or when you update the music track for an existing choreography), you can now choose to import from a file on your device, rather than using music from your music library. This version also includes a updated Watch app that makes it more clear how to access playback features like tempo adjustment, and looks great on all the latest devices.

Everything has been updated for iOS 9 and WatchOS 2. The Watch app now requires WatchOS 2, and has been significantly redesigned to take full advantage of WatchOS 2 features for a more efficient interface. Description of DanceMaster

DanceMaster is a music player designed for rehearsal. When you rehearse, you often need to play part of a piece of music over and over again, and you need to be able to quickly jump to important points in the piece. DanceMaster is optimized to help you easily break down, practice, memorize, and teach choreographies. AGAIN! Every time you pause the music, DanceMaster returns to the last place you started playing. This makes it easy to practice to a section of the music over and over again. FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT… DanceMaster allows you to set cues in the music that you can easily jump to at any time. In addition, you can add a configurable lead-in time to all cues in a choreography. The lead-in time sets the jump point for each cue a little before the actual cue time, giving you time to count in, but keeping your cue marks where they should be. REHEARSAL SPEED You can easily change the tempo of the song for a choreography. Tempo adjustment can be turned on and off without losing the selected tempo, which is great for switching between rehearsal and performance tempos. If you supply the original tempo for a piece of music (either via the "BPM" field in iTunes, or by setting it directly in the app), DanceMaster will show you tempo adjustments and cue lead-ins in beats instead of seconds. REMOTE CONTROLLED DanceMaster includes an Apple Watch app that allows you to control the music, jump to defined cues, and even change the tempo without having to go back to your phone. It's perfect for active rehearsals. DanceMaster also works with Control Center and can be controlled with any remote that works with iOS, including the standard iPhone earbud controls and external Bluetooth remotes. CALL IT FOR ME To help you memorize a choreography, DanceMaster can speak your cue names during playback, so you don't need to look at the screen or your notes while you rehearse. SUPPORT If you have any feedback or questions, we'd love to hear from you! You can reach us by email at info@dancemasterapp.com.

  • Finally

This kind of app is long overdue. It has already proved so vital in rehearsals. I didn’t give it five stars yet, because I would suggest being able to rename pieces of music once it’s in your app library and also an undo button. Otherwise I love it! thank you for creating it!👍🏽
  • You need this!

I cannot believe how underrated this app is! This makes my guard rehearsals so much more efficient! Repoing a section is easy, and so annoying for the kids because I can just keep restarting the track at exactly the right spot with zero down time. I love that you can change the tempo and not the pitch if we are working through a tough section of choreo. I would be lost without this app. I will promote it on my guard Facebook groups asap! All my coaches own this app. It’s fantastic!
  • Apple Music Support

Hi, could you update the app so that we can use our Apple Music (subscription) downloads?

    Thanks!
