This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Crash fix. But not just any crash, it was a crash around purchasing new games!! Oops. For all of those impacted we are really sorry. We hope you forgive us. To make amends, please accept this cheesy typeface joke, on the house: A sans-serif face walks into the street and is hit by a Swiss Modernist truck. The carnage is grotesk… but you know, akzidenz happen.

If you're probably the 1 person who reads these version notes then today I have a special surprise for just you. Instead of telling you all the things we've done new in the app (typing words to compare and zooming into the letters in Learn, better review of your games in Play, a much better Store, blah blah..), we're going to tell you some typography jokes: A font walks up to Gill Sans and asks: “Do you want to go out with me?” Gill Sans says “No!” “Why don’t you want to go out with me?” the other font asks. Gill Sans: “Because you’re Grotesque!” Bad? Heres another one: What is the type designer’s favorite breakfast? Kern flakes! Heh. And to finish it off.. Chuck Norris: +Chuck Norris once started designing a typeface when he was drunk. That night the “w” was born. +Chuck Norris doesn't set type — he just throws all the letters together and expects each to know its role in his sentence. +No flush left. Everything Chuck does is justified. +Chuck Norris whispers in ALL-CAPS. +Chuck Norris can tell whether the font is Arial or Helvetica — blindfolded. Enjoy the updates!
