Reviews of Guess The Painter

  • Errors

Nice idea, but why waste my time learning incorrect information.
Once I spotted one error I could only wonder how many others I was not aware of.
  • Pleasant diversion but contains errors

I note that another reviewer has also posted that you attribute one of German Expressionist Frank Marc’s Blue Horse paintings to Paola Uncello, who was born in 1375. We all make mistakes, but is this one so hard to fix? Offering links to info on the artist and the painting would be helpful, too.
  • Great except that.....

It credits Paolo Uccelo with a frank Marc’s blue horses and claims Gorky’s liver is the cockscomb to be a different painting altogether among myriad other blatant errors. Teaching students that 3+3=5 isn’t a good thing. I would love this app if it had a ton more art and more in depth history and critical interpretation of the artworks
