  • Excellent app

Great app for gmat prep. I would have totally signed up for the online option had I not signed up for Manhattan prep.
  • Fun & accessible app.

This is a fun and easy way to keep reviewing idioms throughout your day. they seemed a bit on the easy side, but I haven't gotten to the more advanced deck yet. Overall a great way to keep exercising your verbal skills throughout the day, wherever you are!
  • Great way to practice idioms

It's easy to take out 10 minutes while waiting and learn the idioms. The explanations are easy to understand.
  • Great free app

I just started using this app and so far it seems good. Since it is free, I would highly recommend getting it! I do think flash cards really help you remember idioms more easily. Good luck! :)
  • Handy and useful

I use the app mostly when I'm on the bus or stretching at the gym. Great use of time instead of browsing Facebook or Instagram. The app is easy to use and I think explanations provided are very clear. I wish there could be more cards but otherwise no complaints.
  • Magoosh

It's a good app, very useful. If there is something that the developers are planning to do, to improve the app, then please consider introducing words in alphabetical order and also pls do add a separate section to test your learning.
  • Great idea

This is definitely a convenient tool to practice idioms on-the-go, however, I'd like the app to include many more idioms and more examples of each. For example, when reviewing an idiom that I didn't know, it would help me to see different sentence examples illustrating the same concept, rather than the same sentence over and over again. I also think the explanations could be a bit clearer. For example in the 'less vs fewer' examples, we learn to think in terms of 'how much vs how many' but it should then plug-in the applicable noun to show more clearly that only one answer could be correct (only "how many cars" would make sense, but I was tempted by "how much traffic"). Additionally, unless One has recently reviewed grammar vocabulary words (gerund, infinitive, past participle etc), the explanations can be somewhat confusing. Magoosh should either include a brief review of these words first, or also plug in general words (rather than "x, known for y" or "noun, known for gerund," "person known for something" might be clearer). Just a thought!

  • Good tool

I have only used the idiom flashcards, so my review goes for those. I found the review very helpful but didn't find that there were enough flashcards. I also wish you could actually select your answer (a or b) to keep you more accountable for once you got right and wrong. But overall, I'm happy with having used the app!
