  • Just ok for now

I would be better if I didn't have to beat up my new iPad Air 2 ,trying to do things. Haven't played that long to really tell if it's good or not!! This is the third time them asking me to make a review,so they get a not so good one right now.
  • Saving Death...what a dilemma...

So, in this game it is my job to save Death as well as all the young girls. And, wouldn't you know it, Death seems to need a *lot* of saving. I'm enjoying the game so far. I'm past the trial but not too far into it. As you'd imagine, it's the traditional dark castle town. But there's a friendly and cute bat named Louis that helps along the way.

So far, the good: teleporting map with action areas, labeled inventory, good voice overs (and voices), good cut scenes. Usual puzzle variety, but HOPs are typical, with a few items where you have to do something within the scene. A match 3 option is available for many of the puzzles, too. And I like sidekicks, and Louis is helpful. I wish he was a little more friendly...saving Death isn't all fun and games...or maybe it is?

The not-so-good: the puzzles seem extremely easy. The hint button is less hint-y and more an instruction of what to do (not my preference). Some of the HOPs have finicky areas where you tap and tap and tap. And the storyline, while interesting, doesn't seem to move logically along. I feel like there's just a little too much back and forth between the same scenes.

I'm giving this a 3.5, or rounded up to 4. I'll be back if I feel there's something more to add, or if I need to change the rating.

Hope all the reviewers are enjoying their holidays.
  • Tap, tap, tap.........

I don't know if I would like this game because I quit after the first hidden object mini game. It took 5 or more taps to get an item selected. I don't have the patience for something this slow. BF, fix the problem and maybe I'll give it few more stars.
  • Riddles of fate wild hunt

This is a wonderful game. It has a great map, good story and it the type of game I always buy. No going back and forth confused like some games. Great and well worth the money. You will not be disappointed.
  • Scary!

Beautiful graphics, HOS not too hard as to be frustrating, orientation map, can rapidly skip from one scene to another, so far, interesting story line!
  • FOUR RIDERS OF THE APOCALYPSE!!!!!!

A little dark but entertaining as the person you rescue from prison and become partners with is Death himself. You are out to rescue his daughter and not just once. You just seem to get her out of one of his old partners hands and another shows up. Of course you have to keep rescuing Death himself on top of that, otherwise same as usual. Has map and good voice overs (sorry Hoss the lips are still closed). If you have problem with placing recipe at cauldron be sure and remove old recipe first. No Rats as yet L/M will get back if I run into a bunch. I first played this on my Mac a long time ago had no problems on it but repurchased to make sure there was none on the iPad so far, and I'm pretty far along have had no problem here.
Alohaspirit1 on the last game I had played it on my Mac with no problem and played up to purchase part on my iPad without any but didn't! purchase a second time sorry you had one.
A big shout out and Merry Christmas to all the gang and to all the reviewers regardless of what your feelings are about us. This is the time for good cheer for one and all. Lol and prayers for all those in need of them especially to L/M Blueflier and Lil Jo. Hope Moonbeam,Dracy,Bunkie,Hoss and Nambr remain well! Btw Bunkie where are you? Thank you BF and especially those of you that do all the hard work for the games you keep giving us. Snooper-158ps don't forget a new Empress and 1000 Doors.
  • Warning

Good game but fair warning if you don't quit to menu first progress will not be saved found out hard way
  • Too many taps

What a fun game this would have been, if it was t so difficult. Not only do you have to tap numerous times to pick up an object, but also during the puzzles. You may have to tap as many as 7 times. Was looking forward to buying a fun game for Christmas, this is disappointing. I'll pass
  • Wish It Didn't Have Technical Issues

The storyline, voice overs and graphics were all good but it was really difficult picking things up and selecting items in the HOS. It took several taps for every item which got quite tiresome by the end of the game. Otherwise HOS, mini-games and labeled integrative map that could be used for fast travel were all good. There was also 15 items to search for throughout the game and the word list type of hidden objects. The main game and the bonus chapter were both nice and long. The tapping issue didn't stop me from playing the whole game but it does prevent me from giving the game 5 stars. Happy gaming!

Again for anyone who's like me and doesn't like leaving the game to access the strategy guide, I use my iPhone to pull up the guide from Big Fish Walkthrough's forum. That way I use my iPhone as my guide while still playing the game on my iPad. Sometimes I'll also use my camera on my phone to take photos from the guide for the location of extra items to find throughout the game so I don't miss any and do the same for the bonus chapter if there's no guide for it online.
  • Great game

I love a game where you have to find objects and then remember where you have to go to use that item. I also love the mini games because you really have to use your brain.
