Lovely, informative & fun
The image quality is amazing. The IR and x-ray versions are fascinating. I have not yet put them on the big screen but will soon. Tons of information about each piece, the artist, the history and the collection related to each piece. Plenty to intrigue before you hit the in-app purchase level - well worth the price even if you never made a purchase. App clearly seems to be set up for future additional in-app offerings, which will be a welcome update down the road. I keep pulling it up on my phone to share with friends - always sparks conversation. Love it!

Nose to the canvas detail
I was initially sceptical about paying £2.50 for 14 paintings but as soon as I zoomed into the awesome detail of the self portrait by Durer I knew this is worth it. It is possible to see every brushstroke of some of the greatest paintings in art history here and marvel at the genius of them all - this is how art should be available in the digital age instead of the countless badly reproduced e-books out there. Hopefully the Prado museum will keep adding to the works shown here, I know it houses hundreds of masterpieces.
