In this game you are racing or running from the 'cops.' In fact, there's a police car in close pursuit right behind you! Collect coins for fuel & honk if there's a small car in your way. Of course, if you slow down too much while you are honking, that police car will catch up & it's game over... dunh dunh dunh...
When I first started the game, I wasn't so sure that I would like it or not. After all; there are so many 'racing' games out there & this one did not look like it had all those powerful bells & whistles like some of the high tech racing games.
But, I believe that may be one of the reasons that I do like this one. It has more of an 'old school' arcade feel about it. And; you can't go wrong racing in a cartoon!
I also like that it starts out easy and gradually gets more difficult. I was able to get to know the game which made it more fun.
The tilt and other controls are fairly accurate and the attention to detail in the scenery was a nice addition.
My favorite part? In the beginning I can purposefully sideswipe the police car without getting pulled over! He he.
Overall, Car Run is a fun & nostalgic car race arcade game that is honktabulous.
