AdaptiBar User Reviews

Absolutely recommend

The questions are great while you’re on the go, or have a few minutes to get prep in. I love that there are both brief and extended explanations if you need more guidance. I also appreciate the breakdown of scoring for yourself, the nation, and the jurisdiction you sign up for because you can see where you align with others.

Great tool and easy to understand explanations

This is the perfect add on tool for bar preppers who like to practice on the go with detailed feedback or quick answers depending on understanding and needs. The questions are well prepared and explanations easy to understand. If you need more clarity there is a section which provides more detailed explanations which can be extremely helpful.

Plus the matrix and way the questions are delivered helps you learn and retain the information needed so that you increase your success rate on each subject.

You can also save a section of the questions for the mock MBE questions to generate and simulate real test scenarios with detailed feedback in timed conditions.

Overall extremely helpful. I highly recommend!

Really helpful for bar prep

I really like the app for when I need to do bar prep q’s but I’m not by my computer.

For example, our school held the graduation ceremony on Memorial Day weekend so it was a busy weekend with festivities but it was in the middle of bar prep.

It was nice to be able to do questions in the downtime when we were waiting for our food order.

super helpful MBE supplement to take on the go

App glitches sometimes, but great features, detailed explanations, and layout. It very closely tracks your performance for subjects which helps you work on and discover your weak points. If you prefer visual explanations, there’s some videos for property and contracts separate from the grossman lectures and they seem to be expanding that. However if you want visuals/charts in the question explanation, you might consider checking out UWorld.

Great app

Questions are very similar to the ones you see on MBE and with other platforms I was having an issue as the language was very different. The explanations and other functions and overall the experience is great! Recommended already to three friends and they loved it as well.

On the Fence About What to Get?

Adaptibar’s app is perfect and other bar prep companies should take note!

The first time I sat for the bar, I only used one of the big bar prep company’s resources. They left me screaming into pillows.

For the second time, my law school provided me with Adaptibar, and it saved my entire bar prep experience. I only had access to the MBE practice questions on this app, and I worked through around 1,300 of the questions. Unlike a certain other big name company, these questions actually look like the questions you’ll experience on the bar. They are not confusing, driven by “hiding the ball,” or focused on tiny little exceptions of exceptions of the law. These questions will actually help you learn and feel confident for the exam.

Plus, as an added bonus, the Adaptibar app actually works! Shocking! I know! You'd think the other big name companies that charge each student around $2,000 (at a minimum) might have superior services with a golden app that could end the way we conceptualize and develop apps as we know it, but you’d be wrong! Good luck even logging in!

Seriously, based on app performance alone, just go look at app reviews between Adaptibar and the other companies? One will have you crying in frustration and the other will be Adapti “thank you for not robbing me of all my money and sanity” bar.

Love it, P.S. thanks John Grossman

It’s the app functionality that bar preppers need: it’s flexible, simple, and reliable. Barbri products and apps crash and confuse users who are all treated as the same. Adaptibar’s algorithmic tools actually learn the users’ weaknesses and strengths and this allows any user to master the MBE.

So convenient and helpful

I love this app! It really does adapt. Just when you start thinking you know everything Adaptibar says, “not so fast” and humbles you real quick by giving harder questions.

An absolute gem in a sea of materials

This is hands down my most used and the most helpful bar preparation tools I have come across. Even more so than my “big business” bar prep course. Jon Grossman’s lectures are straight to the point and very consumable (he joins me on all of my commutes and when I’m cooking dinner for the fam). He has created a practical/straightforward approach we need to tackle the MBEs, without getting caught in the weeds. AdaptiBar has licensed NCBE questions, which you can toggle on/off depending on your bar study attack. It has both brief and extended explanations for questions (I read all of the explanations so you understand the tricks and the why’s — even if you get them right…this has helped me immensely). His lecture notes are downloadable/printable so you can create a flash card if you’re struggling on a concept. He keeps it brief and straight to the black letter law, making even some of the most complex concepts easier to understand/memorize. His examples are priceless (cc Dan Marino). The app can be used on your phone, iPad or computer. I cannot imagine my studying experience without this app! It is a must have. If I ever run into Jon, I’d buy that sweet man a loaf of marble rye and a Jets hat. My only wish is that he would do lectures for all the topics (even state exceptions) because he is just that incredible at what he does! I’ll leave you with this, “Shut up and” buy this app!!!

This Would Be 5 Stars BUT THE APP INTERRUPTED ME DURING A QUESTION TO BEG FOR A REVIEW

That just seems like a wild little bit of oversight to allow the app to interrupt a student during a timed question to ask for a review. Like. I’m fine with asking for a review — that’s whatever. Every app does that. But y’all do know that when we’re timing ourselves for performance that being interrupted is kind of a big deal? Right?
