First time making an app?
It’s truly incredible. How is this app so insanely bad? Needing to constantly close out and try again to get the app to just simply load the main screen. Just now I had to do it 6 times before it would work. How are employees at this place not noticing how terrible it is?
There is simply too many things to list as issues, but it’s as if this is someone’s first attempt at ever making an app, there zero consideration for UI/UX. It’s 2024, I’m pretty sure you could find someone to build you a better app, no need to stick with this one that was built in 2004.
Here’s an easy one. Want to look at your Credit card transactions, mortgage, or IRAs? Guess what, all three are seemingly different platforms and do not play well with the app, or at all. Why does this app even exist?? Why is there a lag of days when you pay your balance on your cc? Hate to say this but maybe look at some big bank apps and see how well they’re designed. Shheeeeesh

Does what it needs to, but lacks WOW
The app is certainly useful. Everything that Summit offers is available, but not always mobile optimized. It doesn’t always work as it should however - several days of no ability to log in and often a “freeze” when trying to access the credit card portal. Very frustrating when you make payments every day and are religious on monitoring card activity. I really wish there was more of a WOW factor though. There should be more personalization tools. I at minimum should see my credit score, especially from my primary financial institution. My need to get that elsewhere and then see personalized offers elsewhere demonstrates Summit’s lack of digital innovation and possible repercussions because of it.
