This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Bug fixes and minor improvements: 1. Changed wording of Sponsor in-app purchase to make it clear it will unlock All in-App purchases. Also if you already have purchased all In-Apps, this option is now disabled 2. Twitter button wasn't working Many of the features which before where available as part of the free App are now only available as in-App purchases. This is just a minor fix for some small bugs. It also includes a new in-App purchase Sponsor which is a way to show your support for the app and also obtain all the in-app purchases in a single go at a nice discount. Thanks for all the reviews and ratings — we really appreciate them. Most of the features are now in-app purchases. Many of the features which before where available as part of the free App are now only available as in-App purchases. We didn't want to do this but we need to recover costs. First, thanks for all the reviews and ratings — we really appreciate them. This was a quick fixes and other minor UI improvements: - in certain circumstances it was no longer possible to get the in-app purchases — this is hopefull fully fixed now - Added a link to directly email for support etc. Please use email for problems as we have no way of contacting you if you use App Store reviews to report an issue - Control bar is now hidden when you change lighthouses - some other minor fixes to buttons that were not displaying correctly or working User 'iRaskalz' on the Canada iTunes store — please get in touch with lighthouse@portablepoetry.com to see if we can fix the problem you reported. We haven't been able to replicate it… In-App purchases are now no longer free — that was a special offer for loyal customers at the time of launch. First, note that at lauch of this version (early November 2016), ALL OF THE IN-APP PURCHASES ARE FREE! Download them now (for FREE!) as this is for a limited time only. This is mainly as a courtesy to any of our loyal customers who already have the app, so that they can still access all of the features without paying for them. This is for a LIMITED TIME ONLY however. The price of an in-App purchased displayed at the moment of purchase — when it is free, it will indicate that it is free! If there is a non-zero price displayed, then it isn't free! :-) However, if by the time of reading this, the offer is no longer available and if you are a loyal customer or have a good story to tell :-), get in touch (lighthouse@portablepoetry.com) and we'lll try to fix you up ;-) Many of the features which before where available as part of the free App will now be only available as in-App purchases. We didn't want to do this but when the App first launched it wasn't free and we made enough revenue from it to just about *cover the cost of development*. Since then, we have made many, many improvements to the app, all for free. But things have changed a lot since then on the App Store and the App with its current pricing model (free with a single paying in-app purchase for extra lighthouses), is simply too expensive to maintain. So this is a last attempt to keep it going — by making some of the features available as in-App purchases. As well as this change, we also fixed the following bugs: - audio would sometimes stop working in certain settings and couldn't be turned back on. That is now fixed. - rotation has been changed so that portrait mode when activated (through the in-App purchase), rotates so that the device is dock-side down (as it should be). - various other little fixes and tweaks, but nothing major. This update is all about SOUND and AUDIO! If you just want to listen to the sounds of the sea as you fall asleep, then you're going to love this new version of App. Here's what we've done — we hope you like it: * Audio can now be controlled by the standard iOS music controls (e.g. swiping left etc, or from the lock screen) * You can fall asleep or just relax to just sounds of the sea if you like, using the timer to turn off the app automatically aft era certain time * You can advance through the different soundtracks (calm, windy, rain, thunder, etc.) * Sounds can now be played through connected Bluetooth speakers Also with this update * updated for iOS 10 * fixed some display issues in iPhone A future update will bring BOATS and new and improved ambient scenes tracks. This is a big update. New features: - portrait mode: lighthouses look great in portrait mode and it's especially suited to iPhones - random button: press the dice andthe app will generate a random scene for you — it's great fun! - autoplay: select Auto and the App will change the scene at regular intervals. Great if you want to use it as a screensaver for your deck New lighthouse (part of Extra lighthouses in-App purchases): - Haceta Head Light, Orgegon, USA Graphical improvmenets: - Many of the graphics have been been improved including the foregrounds and backdrops - Improvements to fog simulation - More variety through additional skies for clear and cloudy - Scenes can be flipped (available through Random or auto scenes) UI and usability improvements - Most important tools can be accessed in a larger central toolbar - Many toolbar improvements - Help has been simplified and is easier to read There have been many bug fixes and performance improvements.
