Great indie game
It's not Metroid, but Callys Caves 2 is a very well done action game that feels good on an iOS device. There are lots of weapons and fun platforming, along with some cute attention-to-detail pieces that show how the developer put a lot of heart into it. And it doesn't skimp on size, either. Why wont it work
Ive tryed playing it on my iphone3 but it just comes on really zoomed in but ive seen my friend play it on his iphone4s can someone plz tell me how to get it to zoom out thnxChannymid
Applaud the Dev
Didn't need the poison bullets but how could you not support this free game for a buck. No annoying ads or anything just give the dev a dollar you owe it to the game. Great power ups, weapon ups it's a perfect pace and each level is just short enough where you can play in bursts or just all the way through because there's a ton of levels.Show lessArerin
instant classic
What a treat it was to play through this great game! Definitely recommend it to gamers of all sorts. R&C weapon leveling keeps the action fresh, while the difficulty of the adventure can be essentially decreased through in-game upgrades earned by the player. My only hope would be for an update where the projectiles appearance changed with a weapon's evolution!

Best game ever
This is the best game i have ever played in my life,the enemies are cool,the weapons are awesome,and the best game in the app store.
When i completed this game i felt like crying i want to play more and more and the 104 levels all where very tough BUT.
On the last level of the whole game the boss is way too easy and i just had to stand there shooting and there was no hearts taken away,any way i have some questions
Will you make a callys caves 3
Can the guns get higher levels than 10
And
I think that when y change wepons you should have
A little map to tell you which ones you have

Brilliant game
Absolutely fantastic. It's retro & RPG themes are perfectly crafted to give a wonderful gaming experience. With a range of foes it provides a challenge at most times but is fun to play & get harder as you go along but not to much to make it unbearable . Along with Fantastic music the gaming experience is for me 5/5!Show lessP5NCH
Not good
I'm on level 64 and I can't get passed the STOPED BOSS!!!! It says you are supposed to be able to skip the levels but I can't!! l=[Olive6268
Nostalgia trigger
If I played this as a child, odds are I'd have fond memories of it into my old age.
If I have any gripes, it's that while the game is initially challenging, the map system makes it trivial to grind for gems or "weapon experience". Especially when the first boss can be approached in the opposite directionand certain rooms have stacks of cash sitting next to the entrance.
It could be made a great deal harder by removing the ability to backtrack full stop.

Very good effort
There is a sense that this is a first major project (building on Cally's Caves 1) and in a lot of ways it's a success.
A very enjoyable platformer with great art and music and a fairly robust gameplay. A few people have mentioned the negatives and I would agree - not much depth beyind grinding, irksome game-over dynamic (it's not a game over if the game keeps playing)...
However it's an extremely well put together piece and with a bit more depth to the story (or at least some challenge beyond run and shoot) and this could have been an absolute barnstormer.
But regardless of those slight negatives this is superb and a very welcome time-hole. Well done everyone who worked on it.
