Great game for mobile device
I would say that this game deserves 4 stars. It has very good support, good graphics, and every week new challenges and events to keep things fresh. Lots of tanks to earn through progression or to purchase. The maps are updated frequently and work well for these quick battles. Now I won’t say this game is a money grab, but even for a tight wad like me it’s very hard to resist. From the monthly subscription, to buying gold, new tanks, drawings, it’s hard to ignore and can become addictive.
I will say that all the tanks I have purchased, I have been disappointed in and regretted purchasing. The stats can be misleading or inaccurate. For example, I purchased a top tier level X tank with super high armor protection, so it was disappointing and concerning why it would get damaged or destroyed so easily. Another time I fought many battles to earn enough XP to get a top X British tank that had literally max penetration and hit points, but it was complete rubbish. Extremely disappointing.
Another issue is the controls. It took me a while to get the hang of it as I’m more of a PC gamer with a mouse and keyboard, then a game pad or mobile device, and I’m still not a fan of them. I think you are at a disadvantage when using the screen controls. You do have the option to only play with others using the same controls, but I found the waiting time excessive, around 5 minutes when choosing that option, compared to 1 minute or less.
