This app is a great platform for meeting Asian men and women, especially Chinese people, as well as individuals from the U.S. However, there are many scams on the app, so it’s important to stay cautious. Some users might try to move the conversation to Telegram right away or ask for your Facebook or Instagram, which can lead to attempts at extortion. They might ask to trade pictures or video chat, so always be vigilant. Also be careful about going to people houses who randomly invite you over don’t fall for that.
That said, there are also authentic users on the app. Profiles with the blue verification symbol are confirmed to be genuine, so look for those. I recently connected with someone who traveled to the U.S. from China, and we plan to hang out in person. It’s definitely possible to meet real people here, but always keep your guard up. Remember, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is—don’t fall for it.

90% is the scammer in this app
Don't tell anyone your details. Don't trust people so easy. Should meet in person before you move forward to the person you feel comfortable.
Do not trust the photos that are shown in their profile. Most of them are fake. I don’t understand why people can use other photo photos. I think Tantan should be more secure than this so it’s a waste of time I won’t come back to use this app again.

Fake site
I tried a month’s subscription, I was paired with profiles way outwith my specific area, all from other countries, every one claims to be from England while their profile show them in the Philippines, I politely pointed that out and they blocked me, I report them, TanTan says fake, thank you.
Every single chat I have had always results in them asking to do WhatsApp after a few messages, I reply that I don’t.
I have found their customer service to be non-existent.
I have reported this to Apple the next day after I signed up to TanTan, they say no refund, I am waiting on my appeal outcome.
If Apple will not acknowledge that this App does not do a service for users who actually pay, I felt their response was a poor show on their part and Apple do not seem to acknowledge that this App does not produce a decent service, no filtering of scammers etc
I would not recommend this App at all unless you want to pay £ for nothing but more frustration.
