  • Not working since Update

Worked well till a couple of weeks ago - BM Pro please update Bluetooth specs
  • G

The app is terriable, it constantly asks to connect even if your no where near the battery. The app hasn’t received any updates for 2 years now. Do not buy the product!
  • Bluetooth connection.

This app was working well for a couple of years and then an auto electrician had to check batteries in tow vehicle and caravan. Now I cannot pair Batter Check with Bluetooth as it states the the pairing number given is NOT supported. Battery Check itself is flashing s green light so the terminals have been replaced properly. Have deleted app and reinstalled it on about 4 occasions with no luck. Not a happy chap.

  • Bluetooth

Not supported by iPhone Bluetooth anymore.
  • Huge potential...but...

I bought the product because it was easy to install..no need for an auto electrician to install wiring and monitors..so that is a huge bonus as well as saving a few $$$..
Then install the app and you have a BMS..all at your finger tips..but..
The app that accompanies the BMPRO is a joke...the Bluetooth connection starts to disconnect frequently when you walk about 10 meters away..and you have to start the reconnection all over again..really painful..
Then a part of the app which I want to utilise “time remaining” does not work..
I have deleted the app and then reinstalled..3 times..nothing..still it does not show working.
There have occasions when you get incorrect infomation..at one time the battery system via the app showed 100%..then about 30 minutes later ..50% full..after deleting the app and a reinstalling it again..back to 100% again.
The developers at BMPRO really need to knuckle down and get their act together to make the app with the BMPRO work properly and be more consistent..for the BMPRO has great potential within the RV industry.

  • Need improvement

This product has a lot of potential, but misses a key element of information. Surely adding cumulative AH used should be easy to program into the unit. This will give the real SOC of your battery, not just an estimate based on Voltage, which is not a true reflection.
  • Not for people with glasses

I’m disappointed with the small size of information displayed, I read with glasses but drive without. So I can’t read the display without glasses so therefore can’t read the app when driving as I don’t have glasses on. The numbers need to be much bigger. I suggest large led type read outs that show green type when charging and red when discharging. This would make the app much more user friendly, especially for those wearing glasses. We should have an option to select different styles of readout, not just the one crappy one.

  • Excellent product and app

I just wish it would run in the background so when I came back to it, the Bluetooth was still connected to the device.
I have found that you either have to exit the app and start it again to reconnect or go to new connection to re establish the connection.
Having said that, I have found the information that this app provides is exceptionally valuable when running an auxiliary battery for camping and running various devices like fridge, tyre inflators, inverters etc.
Also would be great if there was a starting battery voltage device that I could use with this app.

  • Very disappointed

Continually get pop ups asking permission for the BatteryCheck device to connect to the app IF I WANT TO SEE WHATS HAPPENING ILL OPEN THE APP WHEN I CHOOSE TO. Ready to take devices out unless this resolved FAST.
For all the capability this device has, it’s not very well utilised. Allow me to view 2 batteries on the same screen or more with a simple swipe, instead of having to go back and change connection everytime. Add history capability to hardware (like some regulators) or software.

  • BM PRO = EXPENSIVE DUD

    Device is useful when operating.
However, frequently disconnects from the App which then makes it a totally useless and expensive piece of stuff.
It will force bluetooth connection on/off arbitrarily and must be disconnected from the battery to reset.
After 2 years of frustration I’m consigning it the junk box and wiring in a functional caravan battery monitor.
Don’t waste $200 on this thing.
