It’s Changed
I have been playing this for years. I loved that you could progress without spending real money. I would buy gold bars here and there because it wasn’t that expensive in real money $1.99 here 3.99 there. I Stopped playing for a while and just started it up recently and now it goes from 5 bars of gold for the first 5 extra moves to try to win a level to 18 bars for a second round of 5 extra moves. It used to be 5 bars for each extra round. Levels have gotten harder to win unless you spend real money on boosters and extra moves using gold bars. I get the developers designed this to make profit, its a gaming business but to go for years and years having it be fair, fun, affordable and playing without spending a lot to now having to, it’s sad to see. Maybe it’s not the original owners. I didn’t mind dropping real money here and there for gold and then used them sparingly on levels i didn’t want to keep playing over and over before winning it, but i will stop playing probably once i use up my current gold bars and I will never drop 18 of them to win a level with 5 more moves. They do bombard you will events, ad specials to and when you get a 5 min or 10 min booster you use up at least 30 seconds clicking through stuff before you even start a level. 5 min should start as soon as you start level and zero time wasting windows in between levels until your 5 min or 10 min is used up.

Ruined by recent changes.
I’ve been playing this game since 2016 and it’s been without doubt the best stress buster and good fun game I’ve found.
I have spent money on in app purchases, always bought the season pass etc.
However, in the last two weeks the in game currency of gold bars has been devalued. This has been to such an extent that it’s really no longer worth playing. I’m really unhappy with the change as are other players. It came out of the blue and halfway through the latest season pass.
Sadly I’ve deleted the game after 8 years of playing. Not a good change for loyal and dedicated players. Shame on you.
It gets three stars for the game, would have been 5 previously but now clearly just a money spinner with no regard for players.

Too many pops
Good game, but cut out the popups. I just want to start a level. I don’t need 3 screens popping up for some ‘climb’ then another 3 for some prize I’ve won, then 3 more for some next day thing, then 3 more that I didn’t win a race I didn’t want to be a part of and which required 3 pops to reluctantly join. Just. Play. The. Game.

Good game rethink days you use for rewards.
This is a good game and there are great incentives to move through the levels. I think it’s a bit tasteless using veterans day to reward people’s progress though. Keep it to the fun days like Halloween and Christmas and leave out ones that are meant to be remembrance days for people who died or served in wars.

Enjoyable but Crashing a Lot Lately
I’ve played BF for years but, in recent times, it’s crashing so much & it’s extremely frustrating. You lose mega boosts or other progress you’ve made. It’s particularly annoying when these are part of a purchase & it impedes your progress. It’s also freezing a lot lately. It’s made an enjoyable game quite frustrating at times.

Was great at first
I’m on level 6117, and I’ve been playing for years, I’ve got almost all the fiends, but over the last few years it’s changed so much, and not for the better. You used to get diamonds that enabled you to buy fiends and there would also be surprise fiends in the crates, but it doesn’t happen now. Maybe it’s because I have most of them, but the hard levels are very annoying, even with the top fiends you can’t pass them. I don’t spend real money on it now because there’s no point, it doesn’t get you further, just gets you skint.

Fun, cute, smart
I admit it, I love collecting these little fiends and their outfits. lol. The game puzzles are so fun with new elements added all the time to keep things interesting. I think ten gold for five extra moves is way too expensive, and we always need more blue meteormites… but the game is truly entertaining and challenging. My whole family plays now.

Good game. Just hate that when I open it after a while all these little pop up things pop up on my screen when all I wanna do it play the game!
I think I’m in love
The bane of my existence is ads. Most have pop ups that I hate. It feels like it’s every 30 seconds or after each level. But with this game, it’s legit only when you chose to watch them for a reward. I haven’t found any other game that’s this addictive without a waiting period (like waiting 2 days for a item to be built) with the few ads it does have. I have yet to find a negative thing about it and been playing every day for a week 😅

Relaxing and Fun Connect In This Game
As the title describes it, Best Fiends is an app where fun and relaxing connect with each other, making it a good game to have in case of boredom or stress. It says that you don’t need lives, but instead, it gives you little lightning bolts and when they’re all gone, you have to wait about 30 minutes to continue playing. It has little pets that you can upgrade and use to defeat slugs and even if you don’t defeat any slugs, you get great rewards for trying. It does get a little hard after a while so have in mind that this game is strategic and not super easy and realizing for children under 8. It asks you for your age because there are two versions for the game. One of them is for adults which is a little harder but still pretty similar, and it has a kid version which has easier levels and a better experience for children. There are also different maps with different levels. For example, Green Glades has the easiest levels and is basically just a tutorial area, while Endless desert has hard levels that don’t have as many tutorials. Still, Best Fiends is the best game that my you can play on a random day, especially if it’s a boring day and you are feeling a certain amount of stress.
