What can I do with this?

Even by the standards of this developer Stryke is a severely limited app.

Maybe with Audiobus, inter-app audio, a few more sounds and a few basic effects, this would be of some use. But none of that is gonna happen is it, Retronyms?

Really not worth buying

I can't quite believe that this is a standalone app, let alone one from a company that can do better. It just seems pointless and has less features than the majority of free apps.

Awkward to use and not much of it to use.

Not worth buying and probably of little interest if it was free.

If it were free it would have been worth it...

Either I've missed a trick here, or this is incredibly one-dimensional. And as there are no navigable pathways and no help function I would guess that I've NOT missed anything. Thin sounds, and not many of them. Every note on the scale it's true, but no way to utilise them to any effect whatsoever.

Poor. I note that it's v1.0.1, so maybe there's hope. However, it would have been better to have beta-tested this on a couple of friends before releasing it as a paid app. As it stands, it's no more than a clunky keyboard when it could have been so much more- and indeed was advertised as so much more. Devs, hang your heads.

Go Retronyms!

A subtle app with guitar characteristics pays off especially when paired with Retronyms Tabletop, Being able to sample chords on the fly, jam with multiple instruments, and sequencing capability allow for a wider sound palette. Would love the ability to glitch the guitar sound much like the patented Flux Link on the iMPC Pro which would provide even more versatility of sound. All things considered, when used in conjunction with other apps, this product does some serious damage!

Thanks for giving me more stuff to jam with!

Needs a few things

It is really too hard to play notes when strumming or picking, plus being able to manipulate the pads would be a plus

It's ok. Sounds better than it functions

The app is ok. It sounds good. Very limited w not a lot of settings. It's fun, but I would have preferred a more professional interface instead of the cheap wild FuN app toy look.
The limited sounds are nice. I kinda like it. Just lacking something that makes me want to use it a lot. The strumming is cool, but no reference to get repeatably consistent strums. ie: frets. It works ok w Tabletop. The strumming doesn't translate well for sequencing. Timing always goofy. Still sounds pretty good. Has potential.

this is really cool app! lots of magic moments.

so fun

app is a blast β€”Β sounds great, looks great! use it in Tabletop where you can record and sequence it more. I also love recording it into garageband. The only question is whether you play it like an autoharp or hold it like a guitar heheh
