  • Great App ❤️

Genius idea keeps people away from the entrance of the booth and they can share once they have been in and had photos taken. I also run a slideshow which attracts lots of people.
  • Steer Clear, Doesn't work

This app needs to be removed from the app store as it doesn't deliver what it advertises.

SMS texting, facebook and twitter do not work. Emailing doesn't take the formatted data from the core DSLRbooth software and just sends generic emails. Waste of a subscription, keep away.
  • Does Not Work!!!

Purchased ant attempted to use during an event, did not work!!! I don't recommend.
  • Perfect for photo booths with dslrBooth

Love using it for my photo booth events. Subscription is worth it as it includes cloud hosting, email, and sms messages. Frees up my booth to take more photos. Guests love it!
  • Monthly subscription...really?

That is ridiculous that it makes you pay monthly just to use the app properly...didn't do that when I demo'ed the product, so very misleading. Didn't even see that it mentioned needing a subscription once you actually purchase...I already paid for the software so guess I'm stuck. Disappointed.
  • App crashed all night

Last night I had an event and the fotoshare app would not download any photos the entire night. My clients love that I have a sharing kiosk and a lot of the students were excited about it until it crashed. Thank god I have a pixiset account and refreshed that every few minuets so they could enjoy the digitals.

  • Does what it is supposed to do

This app does what it's supposed to do. However, I'd really like to see the options to disable certain methods of sharing and also change the email "from" settings similar to the way that you can in the desktop application. If those features were added, this app would be a home run.
  • Do not buy!

So stupid it wont update and show the latest photos! Waste of money
  • Way too clunky to use seriously

The app has this main functions problem: If a customer accidentally closes the app, or if it crashes (and it does from time to time), then you have to reopen it - which means loading every single last photo you’ve taken from the evening back into the app via wifi before anyone can use it again. I could have avoided this wait time by setting up a new folder anytime the app closed, but two reasons that’s not a good option: 1, I want everyone’s photos in one place from the get-go, especially since people sometimes return to send their photos from earlier in a night; and 2, setting up a new folder in dslrBooth is unreasonably obnoxious.

If the above happens, on decent wifi, the wait time to load just 100 photos was around 3 minutes, which defeats the purpose of using this app to speed up the sharing process.

I also dislike that the app’s texting function sends a link to the customer’s photo in a slide show of everyone’s photo. It just feels cumbersome.

The last issue is that when someone sends a photo to themselves and walks away, the next customer comes to the screen with options to share the photo that was just sent. This confuses people (think how often this app is used in conjunction with drinking, for instance), who think they just type in their info and the last photo, theirs, will be sent to them. The app should just return to the photo gallery after people send their photo.

The app has potential, it just falls pretty shy of what most people who look at this as an option may need.

  • Doesn't work

Purchased to use at events with our dslrbooth software. Worked slowly but okay at one event and never again, even on wifi. Contacted them and were told to buy a router. Could do that, but for a monthly fee just for the app, I shouldn't have to. Buyer beware.
