Great game…if you make in app. purchases.
This Texas Hold ‘em app is fantastic. Caveat: However, you will find yourself on the loosing side if you don’t make in app. purchases. The app. is designed to host “live” players and obviously the more the better. However, although I didn’t write the algorithm, there is a bias when it comes down to the distribution of cards and who wins and who loses. If you purchase chips or avatars you will definitely have a bright winning future. For the rest, they are just the competitors at a great disadvantage. This comment may sound like “ sour grapes” but I really don’t care that much accept when I play against my wife who incidentally does make purchases. In any case, good luck.

Poor game
Have been unable to play since an update at the beginning of the year, I had billions in coins and chests still unopened, but after a stay in hospital it’s never worked. It’s a shame as I loved playing this game. Now I feel ripped off, because I had spent good money on it.
Active community
Full of poker beginners. Even at high stakes, people always limp. The notes-on-players feature is very useful. Time to think is only 10 seconds on every action, which is way too short, but speeds up action.
Large franchise!
You can also find this game on steam. The user base is large. The userbase however is not very good at playing poker, but that might be a positive! Has many anti-frustration features, and a good UI. Probably my favourite play-money poker franchise.

A lot of fun
Although not playing for real cash, the games are a lot of fun and you normally have enough virtual “skin in the game” to be realistic.
Regular Tournaments, Timebombs and All in or Fold are all fun alternatives to the standard tables.
