Server Down plug not working
After several years, the server appears to be down and I can no longer use my plugs except in direct mode and that is insecure. This is a rip off and a total waste of money, they just deactivate your plug when they no longer want to support it. Just need to remember that the switch needs to be kept in as open an area as possible so there's nothing impeding the wifi signal.RohanCK
Average system
The app is good when it functions correctly or lets you access the wifi plug at all.
My biggest issue is, when I use the plug with say a lamp in it, I have to refresh the device list 3 times every time before it will operate it from the app. This isn't good and has been this way for 2years!!Mookshoe

This is a Rip off Plug fail all the time. and there is not a good app to add a second unit. all eays drop the connection, Dont spend money... A cheap plug ....a crapp plug ...Fred flinnstone
Has major flaws
The wifi on/off function will not work after a while. You have to push the button to turn it on. Updates is a joke, it requires u to connect to the unit with wifi direct mode, then u get into direct mode but the update package cannot be downloaded because u are connected to the unit via wifi. Why?Omgthisisdifficult
A fantastic app
A fantastic app and brilliant hardware.
This version is better if you need English language support.
If you update the app you may not get the English version.
I had to roll back to this version which works really well and adds so much function to whatever you use it for.
It also has two clever functions, one to save money when charging phones and the other to extend your wifi signal.

Smart plugs no longer work

All eight of mine stopped working, report they can't connect to the kankun server any longer. What a shame close to $300.00 invested in them and they used to work great. Now they are useless!Livoniabob
Service is down
The Kankun KK-SP3 smart plug connects to the Internet over wifi and works over the Kankun server. If the server doesn't work, you have no access to your smart plug! I have not been able to turn on my lights in a week because the server is down!!! WHAT THE F%#£????!!!!Andrei-Christian
Needs some tweaking
Over all its an ok app.
Interface is self explanatory and easy to navigate.
There is a problem with the timer and time zones! For example in the US/Europe we utilize the day light savings. Although the timer is set and uploaded from my phone, the device doesn’t recognize the correct time. So for example if i want the light to turn on at 16:00, i have to set it to turn on at 15:00 on the app so the device correctly turns on at 16:00 or 4:00pm.
It also needs sometime to connect to the device. I only have one unit, so i don’t know how it acts if there are more than one. But it takes 3 failed attempt for the app to connect to the device.Show lessMr. RMG
