Most legit music networking app out there!

Great tool for musicians!
I'm a young musician based in LA and didn't have a way of sharing my work. I heard about this app from another musician who sent me his "card". Very quick to set up, easy to use, I can take it with me everywhere I go, and I connected with someone new to jam with the first day. The concept is cool but...
The concept is cool, I dig the idea. But there needs to be a way you can browse all artists. It seems you have to build your network by adding someone you already know with the app or inviting others to join the app... That defeats the whole purpose...It is already hard enough to find other musicians... What's this app's point?? To keep me networked with people I already know? Or get into their network like a linkedin? The problem with that is even though there are a lot of musicians it is still such a small niche in comparison to linkedin where everyone needs a job.....
