Solid core, poor implementation
The closest app to this one that I am familiar with is Tenuto. By contrast, this one's interface is completely horrible and surprising for an iPad app. I am glad that they seem to have brought a subset of their desktop app to the iPad, and that is why I purchased all the content right away. But it really is a prototype with an engineering UI, possibly in the hope that the musical lessons are strong enough to carry it. But it's lazy and not to 2015 expectations. All that said, I do find myself learning from the core material that is here. It just shouldn't be as awkward as software from 1987.
