New, short and fun game from Studio Pixel

Completely free game from the mind of Daisuke Amaya [ 天谷 大輔 ]. Designed to help promote Kero Blaster and give an introduction to action games for beginners. There are multiple endings which is a nice addition. One downside of the game is that it's only optimised for iPhone and iPod Touch, no extra detail or effort has been put into the iPad experience, though it does work perfectly nevertheless. Retro 8-bit style graphics reminiscent of Nintendo Entertainment System games [ Famicom ] and a relaxing simple chiptune accompanies the game. Thank you for this enjoyable release.

Fun little Gero Blaster preview

Short but sweet!

Better than Sonic The Hedgehog 2

This game is so good that it hurts so good when the game ends way shorter than it should. 5/5. Absolutely breathtaking. Better than Goat Simulator.

Pixel Strikes Again!

From the creator of the phenomenal Cave Story comes 2 new games! Pink Hour and Kero Blaster! Both of which are fantastic, but I'm here to talk about Pink Hour. Side Note: Why doesn't this game have more reviews?

Gameplay: Pink Hour serves as a short but sweet intro to Kero Blaster. It's similar, but unique enough, with multiple endings and other cool things to keep things fresh.

Music: Top notch. So catchy and fun!

Overall: Definitely worth playing!

Pink Hour? Pink Minutes!

With barely five minutes of actual gameplay, labelling Pink Hour as an extremely brief experience would be an understatement of near epic proportions. And yet, despite it's incredible brevity, this gorgeous little slice of retro heaven still makes for an absolutely essential download for arcade fans. You see, while it may be billed as a standalone game in it's own right, Pink Hour is actually a cleverly disguised demo for Daisuke 'Pixel' Amaya's real iOS masterpiece, the utterly fabulous KeroBlaster.

With that in mind, my advice is to download Pink Hour without delay and try it for yourself. After which, if you're anything like me — and you're reading this review, so you probably are — you'll soon find yourself heading straight back to the App Store to drop a relatively meager £2.99 on KeroBlaster. And trust me, you'll be mightily glad you did.

Pixel is a god.

It's free and it's good. There's no reason not to get it.

All of the yes.

This game is amazing. Short and sweet. It gives a little demo of Kero Blaster I presume and the controls work really well. But I mean, no less is expected from Amaya 😁

Old school fun

Reminds me of a Colecovision or maybe an NES game. It needs to be longer though.. Way longer. Really fun though, as fun as Kero Blaster, if not more fun.
