Description of DriveBit Free

*** This free version of DriveBit contains ads and comes without the fine-grained settings available in the paid version *** Does your Fitbit® tracker happen to log car trips as steps? This can be annoying, since it messes up your step-count. Enter DriveBit, an app that takes the hassle out of keeping your step-count accurate. Once you get in the car, simply tap "Start" to begin a trip, and "Stop" to automatically log the car drive to your Fitbit® account. The app takes care of keeping track of the length of your drive and syncs it as a new activity to your Fitbit® account in the background. The activity overrides any erroneously counted steps and keeps your step-count accurate!

  • I can’t re-log in

I tried it and entered my account name but I had two accounts and did not enter my main one so I keep re-downloading but it won’t let me log in again…
  • Working great for me so far!

I just purchased a FitBit HR, and noticed after motorcycle rides my step count jumped dramatically. After doing some research, this app was mentioned so I have it a shot. So far so good! This morning when I got to work on the motorcycle, my step count had jumped by over 1500. After logging my drive and syncing my Fitbit it returned to normal. Thanks DriveBit!

  • No longer working

This app worked yesterday but didn’t still allow Fitbit to log my heart rate and calories burned. For some strange reason I figured the paid app would be better; it’s not. So I went back to this one and now it doesn’t work.
