Description of GarageMax, Garage Door Remote

GarageMax opens your garage using your iPhone. The App requires purchase of a low cost GarageMax Receiver. You can buy the receiver from BlueMate.com. The receiver installs in minutes with only two wires to connect. Even if someone else has the GarageMax App, they will not be able to open your garage without your permission. GarageMax now uses Bluetooth 4.0/5.0 which is the most secure consumer-based wireless protocol. You can also add several layers of password protection. Compatible with Genie, Liftmaster, Chamberlain, Sears Craftsman, Raynor, Wayne-Dalton, Axis Cam, AccessMaster, Somfy, and nearly all garage door openers built in the last 50 years that use a simple wall switch. Note that newer Liftmaster/Chamberlains/Craftsman that have a yellow learn button will only work with Chamberlain accessories and are not compatible with GarageMax. Please visit our compatibility page for more details. Thank you for choosing GarageMax.

Reviews of GarageMax, Garage Door Remote

  • I love it, so I bought a 2nd receiver for my other garage door

Really easy to install the receiver, only takes a few minutes. Same with setting up the app. I haven’t fully tested the range yet, but it works easily from the end of my driveway.

Since most of my cars are Homelink capable, I don’t need it most of the time, but one of my cars isn’t so I won’t need to carry the remote in it anymore. I also won’t need to remember to grab the remote out of my car if someone picks me up to give me a ride. And I can give access to friends and family if I need to.

I evaluated the other Bluetooth-style garage door apps. This one seemed to be the best available option, as it supports up to 8 devices paired to one receiver. I’m happy with my purchase.
  • GarageMate

These people are very helpful. Always answers questions.
I have three and they work great.
  • Replace Your Garage Door Opener With GarageMate

Tired of replacing batteries? Got more cars than openers? Have multiple garage doors with different openers? Don’t want want a perma-dent on your visor? If you said yes to any of these, then this gadget is for you. I installed one in 10 minutes with no tools. Then, GarageMate did exactly what it was supposed to do: let me open and close my garage door from my iPhone.
