A great choice
I made the decision to purchase Ezviz based on the Consumer testing, report and recommendation. They were easy to install and connect to my WiFi, I purchased the solar panel for each unit and highly recommend doing this as I never need to take them down to charge them. The app interface is easy to use, there is plenty of storage space on the internal space so I didn’t need to purchase the cloud storage. Images are clear and I’m happy the only improvement could be a wider field with with the camera. Affordable and no hesitation in recommending them.Show lessAnzacsMum
App missing save function
The app is functional, takes a while to connect and show clips when you click on them compared with a ring, which is near instant. Setting up the device was quite simple, notifications can be a bit slow (sometimes the person has already walked past). Settings are easy and simple to change.
One thing I don’t understand is why you can’t save clips, just select a clip and save it to your phone, instead you have to select ‘record’ which doesn’t record the whole thing because the button isn’t selectable until the video starts playing, and then the time stamp also doesn’t appear instantly either.
Not sure why, when storing locally, the videos lose the thumbnails after a week? I could understand the event view disappearing if you’re using the cloud storage, but this is being stored locally. I know the thumbnails are still there as they have them when you view on PC, so not sure why the thumbnails are removed after a week? Makes it difficult to find a recording in the past. Especially strange as they’ve added a ‘timeline’ feature at some point, but none have any thumbnails.Show lessThrough Being Cool

I was a big promoter of ezviz but just recently one of my cameras started having purple lines in the video. Ezviz wouldnt replace it. I just won't be purchasing more products when a company won't stand by their products.Petey pistol
