No Iwatch support?

the box says that the Bluetooth light support Apple Watch, but I cannot find any Iwatch app that I can use to shut the light with my watch… any suggestions?
Btw, I have this light on my nightstand since 3 years and still work like a charm.
Very good product!!

Good bulb

This is a good bulb compared to others , bit more expensive than them BUT the app needs a serious update. Bluetooth functionality seems to loose connection regularly and switch on and off, this I find strange when all my other Bluetooth devices work fine barr this one. Really don’t think the bulb is at fault as this connection loss is happening randomly and not constantly. Lost a star for this issue.

Works with iOS 13 now

I have 3 Avea bulbs that no longer worked after updating to iOS 13. I can control them again, after recent update to Avea app. I had not tried for a while and just now noticed Avea app got an update, and things seem to work again. Thanks for giving a little more life to a discontinued product. I like the simplicity of the Bluetooth-controlled Avea bulbs, happy to use for a while longer after being unhappy thinking they’ll no longer work (except with my old iPod touch that runs older iOS version). Thanks. (Too bad Apple Watch support has been removed.)

App crashes

App appears to no longer work and crashes frequently. Have tried on both iPhone X and iPad Pro.

Update: app is now working very well! Thanks for the iOS 13 update!

No more support is provided even though product is still sold

The Avea Flare is still on the markets even if not produced anymore by the company but the company has decided to stop all app support. The first signs came with WatchOS 5 when the app disappeared from the Apple Watch. Now the app is not working properly on iOS 13.1 with the function to change the wake up time causing the app to crash. I believe this is not the way to treat customers who purchased this expensive item especially when it is still available on the market. My negative reviews won’t stop here if there is no change in the way this app is supported. I’m not upset at the company, I’m just sorry for the customers who may be lured to purchase something expensive which no longer works as intended. The same kind of lamp can be purchased from Philips and the support is a lot better.

Return your lights!

Useless in iOS 13. No support. Product has been abandoned. I can’t use my lights anymore as with iOS 13 the app just crashes making $150 worth of lights completely useless.

Useless without update

This app (and therefore the device) is unusable now after upgrading to the newest iOS. Please update the app.

No longer supported

Had this product for over 3 years, they’ve not decided to stop supporting it and as such, these bulbs are all but useless. Rip

App No longer supported

App not been updated for over a year. iOS 13 is just too much for it and it no longer works. But pi’’ed off to be honest

Absolutely useless since upgrade!

Absolutely useless since upgrade. I’ve even tried deleting it and reinstalling it and now it’s terrible. The app freezes constantly every time without fail and has zero functionality. I can’t set a theme or my wake up light alarm.

The bulbs have zero function now other than switching them on and off at wall light switch.

Tried to delete and add the bulbs which allows but nothing I can do with them since the app freezes every time.

If you have these and they currently work, DONT upgrade!

Going to have to invest in a different brand since these 4 bulbs are now USELESS since the upgrade!

Very unhappy!
