Not was it was - help options USELESS
I get the AB regulations dictate what games are available and the changes to slots etc… but the new app sucks. Less poker games, less blast tournament options. No quick play.
What's really frustrating is being given a bonus voucher that says it's valid for ‘million genie scratch’ and ‘9 other games’ - but nowhere does it specify what the 9 other games are. Worse is that million genie scratch DOESNT EXIST! Worse yet, is the help options… you have to argue with a useless bot until it tries ‘connecting you with the best person to help’. Then it takes forever to get a response from an actual human who just says theyll escalate it and ill get an email… I guess thats something?
The overall the experience is not what it was. Help options limited and frankly its a waste of my time trying to speak to a human and when you finally do, it doesnt resolve anything, at least in my case. Casino bonus vouchers still not working and the have the audasity
Waste of time.

FIRST PLAYER IN ALBERTA
I am so excited to start playing on the first Alberta poker site launch - since the new laws have passed for gambling online in 2026. 888 has a great and entertaining APP for poker.
The only major problem right now is the pool of players is too small. Especially at night. We need to merge with the Ontario market as soon as possible and or approve snap format for a quicker game experience instead of waiting for someone to join when there’s virtually nobody online. I want to follow the new legislation but I am tempted to play on a global market during this long transitional phase. I would rather support the provincial laws NOW instead.
