  • Never Works

    And they don’t support you. Unfortunately if you are reading this you already bought a Sundance and paid for the WiFi. Ugh. Never again! And good luck calling either Sundance or the local warranty guys. The man sent for warranty told me he only does things that involve real tools.
  • App rarely works.

    They supported clients with older tubs but I’m guessing they’re forcing you to upgrade to the over priced subscription app.
  • Sunsmart app setup

    Cannot get app setup. Customer service no help.
    They weren’t sure how to get modem to connect to WiFi optima hot tub.

    Local dealer had no idea but would come out for a fee. But they would have to call customer support also.
  • App is barely functional

    Would someone PLEASE fix the bugs in this app? The program modes are only partially functional and the countdown timers for the outer filter and ClearRay can’t be reset. It is useful for some other functions.
  • Partial functionality

    App has not been updated in more than 2 years. I’m on iOS 11 and only temperature function works reliably. Resetting of Clear Ray and Outer filter countdowns do not work. Disappointing functionality for the $300 I paid.
  • Amateur app paired with nonfunctional hardware.

    Do not bother with this app or the associated hardware. This expensive option never makes the wifi connection to the spa. Mine is only twenty feet away with no obstructions and will only work, and then only about 5% of the time, if it is hung out of a window. Totally useless for remote access.
    Even if there is a wifi connection the app itself has basic flaws. The reset of the clearray lamp and the outer filter will never reset from zero days remaining. Other functions are without explanation and the whole app is extremely sluggish.
    This expensive option is so bad it is borderline pure theft. I should have realized given my experience with different Sundance spa dealers who were very reluctant to promote it, even though in theory it would sell itself, given the (broken) promise of added convenience.
    This wifi package will do serious damage to the reputation of Sundance spas if not recalled and corrected.

  • Buggy

    App is very buggy. Won't allow me to set time/date. Can't reset timers for filters/ClearRay bulb. No response from Sundance, very disappointed :(
  • Rarely works

    Not worth the money for the option. Rarely connects to the spa.
  • Some elements are no longer working

    Previous version allowed reset of the outer filter and Clearray that worked. On this version, while it may actually allow these values to be reset, it is no longer correctly reading back those values once reset. In fact, even when reset on the spa panel, the app will no longer read those values. In my case both counters came down to zero. When I replaced the filter and bulb and then used the app to reset, the values remain at zero and "yellow" in their warning state.

    Even more disappointing is that there is no way to provide this feedback to Sunsmart. This is the only avenue, so I hope the developers read this.

  • App is OK

    I constantly have to close the App and sign in over and over for it to work. Wifi signal is full strength but has problems communicating with the hot tub. Turning the power off of the tub and turning back on always connects with the Wifi. Won't stay connected. Love it when it connects.
