The Aimpoint COMPM5b Update
Explore a world-first feature developed in collaboration between Norma and Aimpoint which combines the Norma Ballistics calculator with the Aimpoint® COMPM5b red dot sight that allows for ballistic compensation. The ballistics calculator allows you to easily calculate the pre-configured settings of the COMPM5b and to quickly configure the customizable turret ring to your own settings. You can save multiple custom settings to quickly retrieve them at a later date and find out at what range your “Second Zero” is. These are just a couple of functions that await you inside the app. Fully translated and enhanced with rich content for you to discover. In addition, we have updated all translations in Norma Ballistics as well as fixed a rare responsivity issue on older iPhones and finally solved some unit conversion bugs between MOA/mRAD that affected the general scope view.

With the new Norma Ballistics app, we expand the precision with which hunters and sport shooters can calculate their ammunition products with respect to ballistic performance. Since 2012, Norma Ballistics has offered users an easy and intuitive way to explore and simulate their favourite Norma bullets and cartridges. The latest release includes an updated 3-DOF (Degrees of Freedom) model which is accurate out to greater distances and integrates to your bluetooth-compatible Kestrel device for accurate atmospheric measurements. The Norma Ballistics app comes with a reworked database of ammunition products and our famous Reloading Data collection that is available in offline mode so that it is always available to you. Reloaders will also be able to calculate their custom bullets using custom barrel lengths. New for 2021 is a feature collaboration with Aimpoint to allow hunters, target shooters and operators to easily configure their Aimpoint® COMPM5b red dot sight with the Norma ballistics app.
