This isn't a bad translator but sorry to say that it's not 100% correct. It's not the fault of the app but the online translation software it relies upon. Ill definitely use it but don't feel that I'll be able to rely on it translating perfectly. It is a quick way to compose a letter but you may need to check the results. 9 out of 10 times it translates correctly. Hope this has been helpful

Good idea but buggy
This keyboard is very unresponsive and there is no way to delete text once it is already typed outside of the keyboard!

I give it 3 stars because it is a great idea and has potential. However at the time of this review it does not work. It gets stuck "loading" the translation. I also agree with that it's very difficult to type since I'm used to predictive texting. Please fix so I can use this awesome keyboard!!!

Just a small feature request: ability to copy/paste into the blue text area? So you could translate back by copying from your web page or chat rom for example. Thanks :)

Great concept. Usable but buggy implementation.
If you want competent machine-translation of what you write, this is a really cool way to do it.
The only problem is the keyboard itself. It seems to fail to register any keystroke when you tap slightly in between rows or keys, making for a very rough typing experience. You'll tap away at a word like "pedestrian" and it might only pick up "pedan" if you haven't tapped in the perfectly correct position. The iOS keyboard has been training us into ignoring such placement errors for so long that it's hard to be more careful now with a new keyboard. Other 3rd party keyboards seem to suffer from this problem much less, so I'm hopeful it'll be fixed eventually. Until then, it's still a great way to generate other-language text on the fly.

a bit slow
The functionality looks really cool but it might not be ready for prime it takes way too long to translate. It went into offline mode but I was connected to a working wifi network. Not ready for primetime
